How's Rosa and Davis gone today?

Rosa has been solid as. Nothing standout just playing his role very well and plenty of it.
Davis has done some good things pretty scrappy but the commentators have had a few good words.

Mitch Brown is just an average VFL footballer

A lot of players have come and gone that I would prefer to have kept over Paddy (left for various reasons, to be fair). Hams, Strijk, Notte, Powell...

No shock but Essendon are probably the least skilled team in the league.

Against us in NAB3 they handed over something like 3 of our first 5 goals and today they ended every good build up with a not quite right kick inside 50, even if it was a cinch. Their DE was decent enough but it doesn't tell the story.

Also, this game and NAB3 against us looked uncontested as ****. Not sure if it's just me though because the numbers don't back it up.

Finally, Gold Coast are fun to watch. So many lively runners. A list made for Rodney Eade.

Typical round 1 game not the greatest skills but its end to end and really enjoyable.
