If it was in Adelaide I would have gone the Crows, being in Melbourne tips the scales in the favour of the Hawks.
Good to know, thanks for the insight ;)

Is Fyfe the new Swift?

Forgot he even existed!

The Timberwolves love drafting untalented hacks/destroying talent.
Cavs drafted Bennett, got nothing out of him then moved him to the Wolves in the Love trade. I just think he's an NBA bust regardless of team, but could dominate a league like ours.

Also the Wolves are stacked right now with youth and just drafted the winner of ROTY, Bennett was just a bust.

Edit: just checked that draft year - wow what a terrible class. An undrafted Delly is one of the better players in the group, and he's dead average. The top 10 is either projects that haven't panned out yet or outright busts, with some guys like Oladipo and Noel mixed in.

Interesting tidbit from AFL.com.au

Save for the dismal display against Hawthorn in round two, West Coast could be leading all categories when it comes to retaining possession. The Eagles sit just behind Geelong and the Western Bulldogs for the least points conceded from turnovers. Their ability to win the contest and then defend in their attacking half is a huge reason why they are so hard to score against off turnovers. They rank third for total giveaways and fourth for unforced giveaways. Andrew Gaff is a surprising leader in turnovers, but given he has had more kicks than anyone else in the competition it's reasonable to expect his raw number of missed targets would be higher. Many would be in the forward half as the Eagles are re-entering a crowded forward 50, having forced a turnover themselves. - Alex Malcolm

Points conceded from turnovers in 2016: 35.3 a game (ranked third)
Giveaways (turnovers from an error): 81 (ranked third)
Most turnovers this season: Andrew Gaff (25)
Most points conceded from turnovers: Jeremy McGovern (25)

Created a shit, anti-climactic game in 2010 when extra time would have been incredibly exciting and probably would have resulted in a St. Kilda win.

The replay was a poostain on the underpants of our game. Great that it is gone - should have been gone much sooner.
Hmmm. Maybe I'm just sick of the AFL changing things. Just wish they'd leave the game alone for a period of time.

Surely he shouldn't be umpiring Hawks games. **** me the AFL is a dodgy as ****, backwater ran jooke of a comp.

This is what happens when you have part time umps. Make them full time 100+K a year and make them accountable.

I remember hearing that they are on that part time. I think (can't remember where I heard it) that they are on about 115K part time, as it is.
As they have numerous things they are subject to for the integrity of the game. Such as income etc. Apparently checking what team they support was a bridge too far :)

Wow some actual insightful analysis on the AFL website

Surprised they didn't do it in the Sliding Doors format

IF you retain the ball well....

Then you don't let the opposition score on turnovers
