Got sucked in with this stringer hype. When he is not in the game he doesn't work anywhere near hard enough

Agreed.

Just watched him give up on yet another chase. Recon he's been reading his own press far too much.

Didn't they play the first 7 games there?

Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk

Yep. Not to mention only playing five games outside of Melbourne this season (ditto Geelong), compared to non-Victorian teams who all play 9-10 interstate. Such equality.

Geez Heath Shaw is in career best form. Use to think of him as a bit of a spud that just liked to blaze away during his Collingwood days. Thought of him as a white Harry O'Brien.

Would really love us to go after McDonald Tipunwuti
I'm watching the Essendon game on the AFL app, he's awesome hey my fav opposition player to watch now. If not for that Goddard turnover and horrid ball decision on Parish Bombers would have this, going to be a good second half.

Norf's Kayne Turner done driving under the influence, caught this morning after leaving his brother's house. Recorded a BAC of .133. Kid's on his P's, which has a legal BAC limit of 0.00. ****ing moron, despicable action, worse to me than anything Jonas did to Gaff. Hope the club bans him for the year, I'd say the same if it was Naitanui or Kennedy or Dangerfield or Franklin or Fyfe or McGinnity. Drink driving truly one of the most selfish and arrogant decisions someone can make, and this ****ing idiot is at nearly three times over the limit for full drivers, while on his Ps. North have a rare chance to earn my respect here if they do something about it.

Poor form. No excuses for drink driving, ever.

Ginners would be ecstatic to be mentioned in the same sentence as those stars.

North are one of the few clubs with morals (doesn't mean I like them, but perhaps I respect them more than some other clubs). They don't take money from pokies, right? Let's see how they handle this one.

Was Hodge the last AFL player to be done for this? What was his punishment in footy terms? IIRC he missed a game but not sure.

I think he was pumped up by the media for being a good bloke and given a new Lite n Easy contract.

No punishment for Hodge. It was while he was already suspended for trying to kill Wingard (which should've been way more than the 2 weeks he got) and he came straight in for the first week of finals after a nice little holiday. Predictably the media let it through to the keeper.

Thanks for the reminder...I knew he missed games but forgot what it was for. The picture of that incident is damning. Sniping shit like his former Captain.

Any of you lads willing to join in with my arguement with matty lloyd on twitter? I pointed out dogs lost away and he said nothing claimed injuries, as i pointed out i was speaking about being "away" grand finals are won at the G not etihad

Patton is a dinosaur now. Moves so poorly.

ER he always has, his claim to fame was in a TAC comp where he was a man against boys , always had a huge turning circle and when he tried to shorten it, to compete at the next level against men, he got snapped at the knees by stronger bodies.
"Big Unit" that he is, however he will have a short career in the AFL if he doesn't drop weight and gain some flex ability.

David Schwarz mark two........ SAD but true.[/QUOTE]

I thing clubs playing immobile forwards who are high profile (Hawkins, Patton, Cloke etc) are in a tough spot as they are probably costing their sides by not chasing / tackling etc but its a difficult decision to drop them.

Hawkins seems the best of that group by a mile, and he's still a presence defensively even if he's not as mobile as JK.

He pulled the Cats over the line in 2011 when Collingwood had every right to claim the premiership given they lost two games all season.

The Cats love him now.
