Durant stays or Washington/Lakers it looks like. Okc should have won this series, matched up well against okc.

Durant staying is probably dependent on Westbrook deciding to stay. If Westbrook goes to the Knicks as rumoured then I could see Durant bailing as well.

Apart from money not sure why anyone would want to go to LA, they are going to be crap for a few years. Durant + Wall + Beal could be a good combo.

Anyone see On the Couch with Brad Scott ? Anyway he said on the subject of ducking that a few yrs ago in Perth against WCE North gave so many high tackle frees away that they eventually said after complaining ,if you can't beat them join them .

Does anyone remember this?
Free kick count for that game 21-17 our way. A Selwood received 2 free kicks Shuey 1. Our other serial ducker from that period Hams, didn't play. Sooky Brad rewriting history.

Obviously untried but Simmons want to go to LA too?

Honestly cant believe they blew a 3-1 series lead. Cant believe they choked game 6. Ugh, Thunder are such disappointing underachievers.

I hadn't heard the Westbrook rumours. If they want a title staying is probably the best option, they need a backup scorer probably a 3 point shooter. If Washington gets Durant that would be a nice squad. Lakers you would think are 2-3 off but they seem to land guys.

Simmons is in the draft, so he has no choice but to go there.

Durant has a say in where he ends up.

Yeah, but I was referring to saying how good would LA be next year if they had Durant and Simmons?

Would be better, but Simmons would still be a rookie so Durant would have to shoulder a lot of that load.

******* tough break for Roughie. I'm the same age as him so certainly a reminder to myself that cancer doesn't discriminate by age.
Sounds like the prognosis is still good but what a horrible thing for him and his family to go through.
Hope to see him out there again ASAP kicking bags (even if against us, yeah I said it).
The prognosis for his Stage IV melanoma has never been "good". Most cancers, once they metastasise to a different organ, have a poor prognosis in terms of 5 year survival rate (under 20% but exact figures are hard to find without undertaking a proper literature review.

Having said that, there is certainly hope, which is why people opt to undertake these therapies. The newer immunotherapies show more promise than the older chemotherapies in terms of survival statistics for metastatic melanoma. Some people have survived well past 5 and even 10 years after such a diagnosis.

Would love to see him get back to playing footy. Would be absolutely remarkable and inspiring.

Just saw the 'whistle blower ' video on afl site and of course it was about high tackles .
Had puopolo cracking the shits at alen Christiansen for drawing a high free on him ! Even gave him a cheap shot .
Puopolo is one of the worst in the afl for it FSS . He has no right to be pissed off . What a flog

Damn, I certainly didn't know that. Was just going off the tone of the AFL site. Thanks for that.

I think it's important people know the gravity of the situation (information is not a bad thing), but I'm also well aware of the effect of positivity on one's prognosis. The mind does, to a degree, control the body and its response to disease and the treatment (placebo effect is measurable). Attitude, hope, connection to others, and a healthy diet all improve outcomes. Roughy's fighting this battle from the best possible baseline given who he is and what he has achieved, so no one should give up hope on the basis of statistics alone.

Something about them makes me angry.
Its the bandwagon flog fans with possibly heat jerseys gathering dust in their drawers. Most couldnt tell you who chris mullin is or reenact tim hardaways killer crossover or laugh about latrell spreewell choking out the coach whose name escapes me.

I'll admit that I haven't really paid attention that much to the Warriors for a while, but they were my team in the early 90's because Chris Webber was my favourite player. Since then I've been pretty much going for whichever team has Australians in it, but now when Bogut joined them a few years ago it sort of made sense to go for them again.

PJ Carlesimo I believe.

GSW are not my first team, but I've never disliked them and the way they play now is phenomenal, so I do enjoy their success. I also look back at the Jordan era and probably failed to really enjoy the greatness and at the time kind of wanted to see the Jazz knock them off. So this time around, I'm probably more inclined to enjoy a great team playing great basketball.

Been a Timberwolves fan for probably 20 years, so certainly not just a bandwagon supporter.

oh wow, got lakers listed as my team and im accusing GSW fans of being bandwagoners. that looks dodgy as, anyhoo got a lakers cap for birthday in 1991 right about the time the bulls pantsed them for MJ's first title so i did jump on a rapidly clearing bandwagon as most bandwagon fans jumped on the bulls. Good luck to the timberwolves fans ^^^ about to enter a very nice period for them, solid young team with stacks of upside and an awesome new coach

TBH with you if i tried one of tim's crossovers these days i'd probably fall over with everyone laughing or break an ankle. Back in the day i had a lot of respect for golden state back in the day but to me they are just another plastic team now. Like the heat were before them.
