The panel said Roughead took possession and was immediately tackled by West Coast’s Scott Lycett. As Roughead was being tackled, he fell and made contact with Hurn. Hurn turned side- on and braced for the approaching contact. It was the view of the panel that the high contact to Roughead was caused by circumstances outside the control of player Hurn, as he did not have a bumping action. No further action was taken.

It's hilarious to see teams talk themselves up in the post match pressers after beating teams like the Bombers etc. It's almost like they think the comp is that even that a win against the shit teams actually meant something.

Whatever any of you do this week, I recommend not poking your nose into the Freo board - the stench in there is like a foul post-grog-bog has been festering with the dead corpse that is their 2016 season.

They're getting the popcorn ready for the desecration of our flag on Thursday night's Footy Show. Also taking great delight in the failure of our midfield.

While I know we enjoy their misery, I'm not sure we have the level of scum and vitriol that they have for us.

So glad one of our Mods got rid of that ****ing armpit stain yesterday. Such a turd of a poster.

Your warning was a little too late, I'd just had a squiz this morning. Geez they are up and about after their first win come the half way point of the season.

There's people on there saying they're in a better position than us. The same mob who didn't even know their demise was on the doorstep until this season started!

One of my favourite comments was that if you dont get to a GF you at least want to improve the next season. Still struggling to recall exactly what they did that was so much better in 2014 after losing the only GF they've ever played in..

Years of mediocrity has certainly taken its toll on that bunch.

I reckon you could have comfortably herded a fleet of 60 year old Aaron Sandilands through that Essendon zone at times.

West Coast just aren't good enough to go all the way this season for mine, that game against the Dogs just simply needed to be won. Simpson is a gun coach though and will be working his arse off on solutions to the Melbourne problem.

Which is exactly what they've done. Somehow after a few weeks of playing the kids they are inspired that they will rocket back up into contention out of nowhere.

Well, you could count Port as a test. Turns out this year they're probably a midtable side, and we beat them on their own turf. Still, failing 4 out of 5 is still not acceptable for a premiership tilt.
