Not really. Had he stayed at Geelong he most likely would have kept on a downward spiral and simply picked up a pay cheque. He was too comfortable. Moving to GWS has made him work hard again to prove his worth and show Geelong up.

Nah he wasn't given. GWS just thought out of the box and recruited a player that has been able to immediately fill a need and be a significant contributor, something as Eagles supporter we wouldn't understand
