Not sure about that. Certainly hope so but just because we are struggling to make the 8 following one grand final doesn't mean that the team that's won the last 3 are going to drop

That's what it looks like when you're ruckman is not fully fit. Nic looked similar last Saturday but his ruckwork is so good we still got value out of him, but neither were or are near their best.

Because Goldy isn't Nic though he's got about three years grace before he starts getting called overrated by the Vic media*.

*He's not overrated at all, that's my point, but Nic gets about one bad game before Jack Watts is better than him (Andy Maher, David 'Blow up the Pokies' Schwarz), or he's 'underachieved' (Ben Dixon) over his career#.

The 3 teams that I don't want to win the flag this year are Hawthorn followed by Geelong and Sydney Swans. Would like to see a different team win as all those teams have had their share of winning the GF in latter years. As it looks very unlikely/impossible that we will make it this year think I would not mind Adelaide or Western Bulldogs. Of course it would be a fairytale if GWS got up and won it, but think maybe their lack of finals experience will be their undoing?

He's doing a shit job of captaining my SuperCoach team. Usually i don't watch their games, i just wait for him to roll in with 100 SC points. Tonight i actually watched, and you can see how #blessed we are to have a guy like NN who follows up after the tap.

Obviously Goldy's not fit, but it's hilarious how absolutely passive rucks can seem when you're used to our past few

Dayne Beams went home for family reasons (albeit very serious ones). Coniglio is obviously very close with his family, who's to say he might not want to come home and be able to see them every week?
