All these GC comments got made about St.Kilda when they rolled Geelong, and about Collingwood when they rolled Geelong, and Richmond when they beat Sydney. Next week GC will probably lose to Brisbane and the narrative will change to holy shit GC need to be relegated to the NEAFL.

Fact is, the reason that these teams don't finish top 8 isn't about how good they are on their day, but how consistantly good they are. Unless they come up with a finals 16 next year, I still don't see GC there.

Also, given the rumours that David Swallow has asked for medical help from Victoria I think there is more to their injury list than just pure bad luck and that there might be something more too it (poor training grounds, bad medical team etc...)

Came here to post the exact same thing. The guy just always makes the right decisions. That's the 2nd game he's won the dogs this year with his composure under pressure. Exactly what we lack imo
