Absolutely hate the Hawks ... dirty pricks, but I wish we were a bit more like them.
I remember Jack Sheedy, and how everyone hated him, except EP supporters, of course, and I loved him. We need some of what he brought to the team at the Eagles.

Hawthorn are a bloody clean side. Not many fumbling in the forward half. I really envy that, i lose it watching guys like hutching fumble the footy like a hot potato.

I was thinking about something similar recently. We tend to take the ball, accept the tackle if it's not avoidable (or allow the ball to run out of bounds) and set up for a ruck contest. When Nait was around that was kind of justifiable but now it's a bit rubbish.

Last year we went through a period where we'd move the ball forward at all costs and we'd jip opponents by delaying handballs until the last second, causing them to think it was about to be a stoppage when it wasn't. We'd also have a wave of players running past the guy about to be tackled. This made Wellingham and Sheppard look awesome. Sadly I think it left us wheb Pyke did.

Anyway, that's enough rambling for now.
