I agree with you 100%, why not Jack and Rance share the captains duties? They lead from the front and tell it like it is and they have presence.

Yes the Adelaide loss in Perth hurt the Eagles, as for losing to Collingwood at the MCG - I wasn't surprised. I mean in theory Collingwood were 12th and the Eagles are a top-8 team so going by that the Eagles should of won but we all know that in the AFL - Home Ground Advantage rules the roost and Collingwood most of the time cause the Eagles all sorts of problems when they play each other in Melbourne, it's just how it is for some reason.

Half the squad had the flu when we played the crows, would explain why we just gave up at the end and couldn't even score in the last quarter.

*if* we beat Hawthorn next friday I think perhaps we're in with a shot the next week... Crows will be coming off consecutive 6 day breaks and a showdown...
