They lost Patton and Davis by half time, with Ward already struggling with a calf and taken out of the game during the third quarter, and it was only in the third quarter that they really started destroying the Dees

I take it Melbourne were playing abysmally, or did the giants show the rest of the comp a glimpse of what's coming our way?

I hope Patton doesn't suffer the same fate as Gumbleton.
He had bad knee problems before he was drafted and now another 2 ACL's is terrible.

yeah they were absolutely dropping like flies and ironically really kicked into gear when they got to two down on the bench.

even aside from Patton, Ward and Davis, Shiel was involved in a headclash but passed the concussion test, Hoskin-Elliott was struggling a bit with a calf and Treloar looked like he had a bung wrist/hand.

Both, Melbourne were as bad as i've seen them for years and GWS just had a field day

Reminded me of one of the Collingwood smalls taking on Bellchambers last year.

That does sound remarkable. So like Collingwood last night, except they drank some concrete and won the match.

Palmer turning his career around since he went to the giants has been amazing.

I reckon there are a number of players in the league that get stuck in a rut at a club, but would probably excel at another if given the opportunity. I think Melksham would fall in that category.

I hope we persist with him, but seems as though I'm one of few who thinks we should.

Not really, their list is woeful and they were worse last year. They're several years away from making the top eight, let alone winning a final.

True

Roos did mention that players will be playing for their careers in the next few weeks going to be interesting which players get the chop.

Which absolute goose in the media this past week said that Pavlich was cooked? I can't remember who said it, but goddamn, hit the post last week which would have put them in front, then says that. Meanwhile kicks 5 this week. :drunk:

Today was as well as Pav has ever played I reckon. Looked like his prime basically.

Amazing what happens when you have a second key forward in the team.

He did the same last night after the Adelaide game, and I couldn't believe it! What sort of grown man whines and sooks about the way he's been spoken to on National TV ?!?

If it was bothering him so much, surely he could have a quiet word with Mick?

Man, he must have been pummeled in the school yard. I can just see him being given Milhousian atomic wedgies everyday through high school.
The level of hypocrisy of these communication specialists is dead set unbelievable. They can tee off on anyone they want behind their typewriter and will continue to do so, because of the copious amount of idiots who devour the horseshit which comes out(Another issue in itself, tall poppy syndrome, is as Australian as getting a prime rack of beef, over seasoning it, burning it, covering it with heinz and then throwing a couple of slices of beetroot on top for good measure). Yet when someone finally returns serve the tears... the sympathy we are meant to feel for these gimps. The issue lies in the fact that there is no one to call out the size of a communication specialists ego.

At least Milhouse's mum thinks he's cool. The first thing Mr Stevens did after Mark was born was castrate himself.

That's hilarious! Like in the movies when someone's mouthing off to a guy sitting down, then he slowly stands up and he's huge.

Had GWS as favorites against Collingwood before their rash of injuries. Pendlebury and Elliott will be back for Collingwood - This becomes a 50/50 match.

Pavlich out of form - Had a very good season - Quiet in the last month but suffered two bouts of concussion - Think pavlich is moving better this year, than last year.

I'm still trying to work out how we lost to Melbourne... I just don't get it.

Roos needs to sign on for a least 10 years to sort out the shit at that club.. woeful again.

No, that would require further "penalties" for EFC to fund his salary.
