For sure. The AFL is choc full of jobs for the boys. The AFL itself doesn't even make public where all of their money is spent.
Had to laugh about Brad Scott last year when North could of had to pay him out.
All of the AFL matey mates were going No worries he'll get a coaching gig somewhere else, he's a top communicator etc,etc (As if anyone was gonna hire him as a senior coach)
Then obviously noone wanted him, then Bingo! Bullshit job at the AFL doing f**k all.
For ages people just worked at Nike cause they knew the AFL would hand them a job sooner or later if they sucked the right dicks.
No different to his previous job.

Reason like this and the media boys club where all AFL interest are protected is why I can’t take the league or the game these days very seriously
Are you trying to tell me that Hamish isn't on 7, even commentating games! because of his expert knowledge from playing the game?
I hope your not saying that.

What's with the Richmond nuffies starting another thread on the unfair advantage we'll have again this year playing at home,They've barely been down the highway to play us in the last 15 years, Just like the Hawks or any other big Melbourne based teams.

That’s not true. They’ve played at Geelong 7 times in that timeframe. That’s way more than Hawthorn’s one visit (in 2006), or Carlton’s two (2018, 2019), or of course Collingwood and Essendon comfortably sitting on zero each. I’m hoping Essendon will be visiting soon.

Still think no matter who the club is, is you’re unsuccessful long enough, you’ll eventually make the trip (Carlton the last two seasons). If you rise up the ladder and have a big enough following, you’ll avoid it. That’s Hawthorn from 2007 to the present, and Richmond the last three seasons. Even St.Kilda, when they rose up and became a legitimate threat, where did they play Geelong? Docklands or MCG. They skipped Geelong for 9 straight years.

The same richmond that play premiership rival west coast’s home game in qld? A neutral venue.

And the last time that they did, 2017, their Coach winged and whined for weeks after about our unfair advantage. They lost the game by the way.

I was at that game, their reserves lost too! Beautiful, apart from the dumb Tigers fans (including their cheer squad) that started a punch on right in front of where we were sitting.

Cockatoo has to be on the up.
Jenkins because he plays for a real club now.
Miers Henry Clark Narkle Constable Kreuger Parfitt Stewart O'Connor on the up.
Cockatoo - lol... he won't make it on the field
Jenkins - old and passed his peak
Miers - Maybe - shows signs of class but still not consistent enough
Henry - has not managed to repeat his early form - had a down year last year
Clark - Injured - lots of time off - will take a long time before he gets back to where he was
Narkle - Hasn't shown any real improvement - seems to be staying at the same level
Constable - No idea whats up with this guy - some say he is the next A-grader but our club treats him like a poor mans Parsons lol
Kreuger - Inconistent, not seen any improvement
Parfitt - Inconsistent - still hasn't managed to produce consistent good quality football
Stewart - Think hes near his best - great season last year and hopefully he can maintain that - don't think he can get much better since hes already pretty good
O'Connor - Another that has been meh - seems to not improve much if at all - maintains B grade - no breakout games yet
