They sure do. I entered tonight pretty confident Saints would stay consistent. Pretty alarming game by them. Back in the pack with Port, Crows, Bombers etc I reckon.

Some people perceived petulance during his time at NM, and the public response by PA, and Hinkley, since then has worsened that perception I reckon.

Not saying it's right, but perhaps club and coach might've been better doing things in private. In doing what they did, they made him a bigger target for the idiots.

He’s a good footballer by the looks and built like a tank. Booing him is dumb and he is strong. He will shut them up eventually.
Port are playing better this year. They are playing like a team that is galvanising and this pile on of the kid is part of why.

It might seem harsh on Port as they've had some good wins. I still have lingering doubts on them as a premiership contender for now. I'm sure plenty will say it's generous for Geelong but I reckon our ceiling is still higher than most. No writing off defending premiers until they're knocked out.

The basic gist of what you are saying is correct. I think of our era from 2004 on ...then we splattered the comp in 2007 and everyone came for us.... to make the GF ...for the next 4 years was an amazing effort when you the big bull in the ring that all the matadors come for.

Thats not a retro Geelong scarf. If they want to really reproduce a retro image ... I want the black cat... Its really what we should be. The Black cats not some furry feel good thing... that face was something introduced around 2008. Imo it should almost be like a black puma or panther but the whole history of why we are cats is that its a black cat that brings bad luck to other sides...
