Massive loss but if you look at their 2s Hustwaite is the next man up and he is the same as the others.
We have gone the opposite way and have too many outside runners and need 1-2 more contested players

It’s just a system with them , no player has massive responsibility. Just play your role regardless of your last name.
It's like they have an extra 2 players and they are good to watch
I think McRae inspires a lot of trust between team-mates (as does having an older team with a lot of experience).
I still remember when McRae said not to act like losers when losing, and everyone made fun of him, but tbh, I think he's right. They had a terrible start to the season and they have never looked phased by it.
Imo, even the way they chose McRae showed balls, rather than how Carlton, Essendon, and St Kilda have always searched for the easy big names.
I also feel like Sydney had a chance to find a new coach with new ideas, so I'm a bit sad about that.

McRae hasnt done anything different from other seasons his players are enjoying sustained injury free runs and are playing career best football.
Makes any coach look good
