one thing that i'm so puzzled about is that damn tattoo ..

why get that tattoo done when he's not really overcome his problems ?!

he didn't come out to apologize to all his fans, and everyone "involved" with him .. it's really disappointing to be honest .. i would've liked to see more from him .. i really feel for his parents.. his dad has always been behind him all the way .. and to see samantha druce there last night .. very sweet of her to do so after being put thru a hell of a lot with regards to ben.

it's gonna be a huge loss to the eagles .. a huge loss .. will miss seeing him play. very much. :(

He became addicted to drug(s) and the lifestyle he's had for a decade. He's still addicted. What else is there ?

Mate im shattered... He was arguably the best midfielder in the comp on his day, and i for one am shattered at the decision, i cant believe i'll never see my favorite non-hawk player play again.

Thats exactly right. People will ALWAYS judge him by the off field stuff, nearly everyone ive spoken to about Cousins wont admit how good he was on the field... Its Cr*p.

so sad to see such a talent go down that road...essendon always had great games against wc and i love watching this guy play...he is 1 of the best ive ever seen....hope he gets it together....he needs to leave perth and find new surroundings.....if i knew he wouldnt slip up id have him at essendon in a heart beat....but theres no assurance.....good luck and get better ben....
 
Poor bugger. Get well mate. Too bad really, absolute champion footballer who can't do his thing anymore because he is too addicted to drugs. Real shame... :(

I disagree with this. What's he going to do now? Hug all his thounsands to sleep? Being wealthy isn't going to help Mr. Cousin's a lot at the moment.

A guy with so much talent, and he decided to take this path in life.

hes an idiot he got him self in it so he can get him self out of it he should of been sacked the first time

he should go get a life

thats my opinion he was a great footballer but drugs do alot of harm
