judd's and Voss' in the age are also a good readCrave said:Cannot stand Maher, Hudson, Hutchy....theyre as bad as Walls and Caroline Wilson. Sheahan, Ill actually bother reading...Lyon is just too obvious for my liking. Schwass would have to be the columnist I enjoy reading he most alongside Buckley and Hird. Looking forward to reading Archer's columns when he hangs up his boots....the few he has written have been honest and spoken with integrity.

I know he's not speedy, but he does get it, not unlike Jobe and with the injection of speed that will likely be prominent from us from here on in, we could perhaps use another who can dish it out with his footy smarts. Any views on this?

Exactly, we dont need another Peveril.ant555 said:I can see the reasoning but i would say no. His disposal can be a bit ordinary at times and we already have enough of those.
The key part of whoever we recruit is that their disposal is very good!!
Wouldn't have thought we'd go after Laycock, but with Everitt leaving may need some backup on our list.facemaker said:Have heard that 5 clubs are chasing Laycock. Sydney and Freo very interested but doesnt want to move out of Melbourne. Hawthorn have offered him double what Essendon have offered. Would'nt blame him if he went to Hawthorn as he would be the Number 1 ruckman down there.

Taylor is only there for injuries, Campbell is ready for number 1 rucking duties and Bailey is still a year away (but will still play in front of Taylor). McEntee has loads of potential but is still 2 years away.
I spose we could be interested... what would you expect in return? Second round pick? We'll probably try and get that off sydney for Spider and on trade that for another player, whether that is Laycock or not I'm not sure.
He's 25 and can't crack a game at Melbourne but I know our coaching staff wanted him last year. Don't know a whole lot about him, except has great attack at the ball and can play a bit out of his weight division(thankfully cause he isn't very big).Bender The Offender said:What would you guys think about Ryan Fergusan. His young and his a tall backman he could be handy after fletcher goes.
Your thourghts?
