The club is scalping, ahem auctioning, tickets by the looks of it, you can purchase two - plus have the honour of getting your child to be the team mascot (ie run through banner with team) at http://www.aflauctions.com.au/

Well I got offered a ticket for $500 earlier on in the week, took it, then the next day got told that the ticket couldn't be sold. Depends how much you are willing to pay.

I'd pay face value because I have bugger all cash and need to travel 1000kms.

Anyone that got tickets this year for the sole purpose of selling them at a higher price should be shot in the face.

Don't want to go to the GF? Don't get a ticket. Scum.

Some GFC members missed out, I am one of them, so we have to pay. From what I've heard so far, double the price of the ticket is fairly normal, and the way I see it, so be it. I can afford it a little bit, but I can see the point of other members who cannot.

This is where the amount of tickets offered to competing clubs isn't enough.

Although I was offered a centre square ticket for nearly half price, usually on sale for 2k offered up for $1250. That was a bit rich for me anyway, but nonetheless that is at least under what the guy paid for it.

A few months ago I was prepared to get a second mortgage on the house but now I'm too scared of being ripped off by fake tickets. I'd only pay $100 more than face value and ONLY if I was 100% sure I wasn't getting dud tickets.

Here is an idea..
For all the young guys that want tickets desperately, why dont you give a kid that is selling records $400 and swap clothing.. Then go into the ground take off your gear and leave them in toilets and just go and watch the game where there is standing room..
As for the kid that you gave the $400 too, he can just tell the cops he got mugged.. Everyone is a winner

Here's an idea. Sell them to a Geelong member for face value. I'm sure you won't get stuffed around that way.
