Anyone else remember Adrian McAdam @ Vic Park (1993?). Have my fingers crossed that Thomas will repeat those deeds. If not, Matty Campbell is even quicker and should be good for a couple.

BTW - Hansen will not be playing up forward. He's definitely playing in defence (which will make our forward line more mobile and shorter).

Hale & Brown don't need to kick goals - just make a contest and let Thomas, Grant, Harvey, Wells, Campbell & Jones feed off the crumbs.

Surely Bryan will come in and rotate the rucking duties all day with Richards. If Josh can remain in the forward line all day, it will stretch the Kangaroos backline. It will also give Cloke the 3rd best tall backman, which if everyone is correct about the way he is going, then he should be able to have a major influence on the game. This is where one of the taller defenders make way for Bryan, because if the Kangaroos have to shift Brown down back then it leaves us with a top heavy backline. All in all I believe that the Pies have got their best available team on the paddock. Can't wait for the game to start. GO PIES!

Totally agree with your opinion about Lockyer. I would be willing to give him a couple of weeks though and see where he is after that. If he is still struggling then Rhyce should be in the first 18 and Lockyer playing for Willi. You never know how many injuries we will have this year though. He may be in every week through default.

lockyer would only get a late second round pick at best so no point really,if you were prepared go back before you go forward you could trade obree, you could suck someone in for a first round pick look at hawthorn pick 6 for danny jacobs. obree gets tagged so opposition coaches rate him but some clueless collingwood supporters don't
