I was going to say he won't be a top 6 ruck but I thought TheGeneral would post a clip of him making a standard field kick.

I don't see him becoming all that great a ruckman, but I think he'll be a star regardless.I have serious doubts over him as a future star.
He's done well, don't get me wrong. Not many can carry a ruck division from their first year.
But he's never seemed quite good enough as either a ruckman or forward to be considered a "future elite". He reminds me a lot of Josh Fraser. Not so much in style or anything, but that he came in early, had a huge tank and pretty good mobility for a ruckman, but never really nailed one spot or the other.
He's had patches in games where he's turned it on, but he's never dominated an entire game, let alone several, which all top players do.
He'll never be an above average key forward IMO, and as a ruckman he'll be a solid citizen, similar to maybe Dean Brogan or David Hille.
Nothing wrong with that, I just don't see the star potential that so many others do.
Now Leuenberger or NicNat? Gun, gun, gun, gun, gun.
He's nowhere near Buddy, Hell id back Buddy in the ruck against Kruezer.I don't see him becoming all that great a ruckman, but I think he'll be a star regardless.
Just one of those guys who knows where & how to make things happen. He's a very smart, hard-working footballer. I wouldn't read all that much into 2011 form either way.
It's like Buddy, he's not that great a mark, and not that great a shot for goal... but comfortably the best key forward in the game. Just does stuff, again and again.
In an open draft of all AFL players he'd go in top 5.
That list was not necessarily "who's most established now", but "who's shown me the most to convince me".
Ryder has the ability, but I don't think he'll ever get better than he is right now, sadly.

Not to belittle Franklin who is a brilliant player, he isn't the type of player that gets neutral fans through the gate to watch him, unlike Gary Ablett Snr or to a lesser extent Fev.
Not from where I was sitting... at the ground. And Kong - Kreuzer was clearly BOG against the Swans.
lol. There's nobody I enjoy watching more than Buddy, Essendon or otherwise.LOL. You cant help but laugh.

Not once have I started a polls thread, where I stated my opinion in the op. Not once. Not once have I started a polls thread, where I have said something like
"Last time I saw him (edit: Talking about shoenmakers), he tried to take a mark and the ball bounced of his face and opposition crumbed a goal.
Rance has a big win."
So the op thinks Rance is miles in front but starts a poll anyway? That's something I would never do.

Fair enough, I'm a big support of the Coaches Award, so not much more to be said.
