GO PIES

He is a fantastic player with silky smooth skills. I hope its not as serious as it looks.

It will be interesting to see which way they go with Dicky. Surgery will pretty much spell the end of the season :(

Yeah, give him a week or 2 off, let him get some strength back and if it goes again put him on ice and get the surgery because he's definitely best 22 for us.

Yeah he did and missed about ten weeks.

His arm looked pretty limp when he came off.

Assuming it's the same arm, he'll need an MRI to confirm this, but you'd be concerned he's busted up the repair.

Dick's very slim and there's very little muscle around the shoulder girdle to support the ligaments.

Not good.

I guess as far as shoulder's go, it didn't look like a bad one, and the fact he seemed pretty upbeat and happy in the rooms after wards may tell a tale.

He'll be right.:thumbsu:

Geez, I hope he doesn't become another Rusling with the shoulder issues. Last thing we need.

In the presser Malthouse said he has a "stinger" which is excellent news considering what could have been. Although, after that he said "so we'll cross our fingers and hope he's okay", which is interesting because I would take the report of a stinger as being news that he'll be okay. Then again Malthouse isn't the doctor and it was probably a flippant remark so I'll take the news as good for now. Maybe he should take the time now to get it right and make sure he's around for the back end of the season, we really need him.

don't see how it could be a stinger, as both times he went off with it, seemed to be after relatively standard tackling attempts where his shoulder didn't take any impact.

he is a realy spark for us forward, especially with his finishing skills. Need to get him right.

That's what it looked like to me, and I didn't think too much of it at the time. I wasn't surprised that it occurred again after he returned. He loves playing "with the boys" as he puts it, and he seemed happy in the circle after the match, which I don't think he would have been as much had he sustained a serious injury to the shoulder again.

Dane Swan said the same on the Sunday footy show, said Dicky told him (Swanny) he might even come good for the Wet Toast game......
Scott Pendlebury said the same thing on 3AW, and mentioned that he should be available for next week.
dicky would be singing the song in the rooms with a broken leg...
I don't think that anybody is doubting he would still be singing the song. Whether he would be as happy as he looked may be another matter though.

Seems like fairly positive news in terms of his injury.

At the ground, most around me (including me) thought the injury may have been worse, as he really made impact with the ground on the point of the shoulder.

Hopefully he is right and can play either next week or against Port.

We need Dicky, especially with Leon struggling.

But like Kennely Injury he had before he went to Ireland

Dave I think you are a bit wrong here. Kennelly was popping his shoulder and poppibng it back in regularly I didn't think Dick actually dislocated his shoulder last night
