Walters will rotate through the middle with Ballas staying close to home.

I'm tipping Ballas to kick 50+ this season and lead the goalkicking
Pav to chime in with 40 or thereabouts.

Really hoping our mids start kicking more.

Pavlich

The emergence of Tabs and the fitness of Clarke (as compared to last year) combined with the dynamic duo will allow Pavlich to be more productive than last year.

I don't think Pav will figure prominently in goal kicking tallies, he's on the downward slide at this point in his career and is there more to take the pressure off the next gen of goal scorers. I'd be stoked if he kicked another 40 this year but his selflessness in releasing guys like Tabs, Ballas & Walters will be the real gauge of his impact this season IMO, as other teams will still man him up as if he was in his prime.

Walters
Ballas
Pav

Then all the mids rotating foward in:
Fyfe
Hill
Crozier
PearceD
Mundy

Does anyone know off the top of their head, our highest season tally? I think I recall Pav getting 70+. Did Modra ever get to those hights??

Wow, I'd forgotten how dismal our 2009 & 2011 years were for goal returns.

The leading goal kicker's totals for the last 2 years could correlate in some way as to why we haven't been able to go all the way, compared to other top 4 teams highest player totals. In short, I don't think you'll find too many Premiership winning teams with leading goal scorers that can't crack the half century (although I'm sure there has been the rare exception to the rule).

There is the other side of the coin in the case of Fevola and J Reiwoldt early on where being the sole target in the team means the numbers were high but the team suffered.

I reckon Michael Walters will become Fremantle's new leading goal-kicker in 2015. He is a gun small forward and is a criminally underrated player outside of the Fremantle Football club. Another player who I think may feature heavily amongst your goal kickers this year is Matthew Taberner, who is likely to be Fremantle's CHF for this season.

Top 5 goal kickers for 2015

Michael Walters (55)
Matthew Pavlich (45)
Hayden Ballantyne (40)
Matthew Taberner (25)
Chris Mayne (20)
