I did quite a few wallpapers a few years ago while learning photoshop.You've gotta do something so why not a Pies wallpaper. They had nothing but the logo on a black background then. I emailed the club they said "Give us a look", I sent them in and they then emailed back "Yep! They're on the site."
Later on there was a bit of a stink from (I think) the RSL about the logo having the Collingwood flag before the Australian Flag. I did a few versions and sent them in and they used one for quite a while. I think all the new graphics are done by Bigpond now as they run all the AFL clubs sites.

I'm actually doing some real work right now so am a bit pushed for time but I'll put up the graphics the club used and a few which I have done over the years.

The graphic would be done by some sort of design company or their marketing department not bigpond I assume (unless you mean the site's general graphics).

Speaking of wallpapers does anyone have any good (non-Collingwood is fine) wallpapers for 1680X1050 resolution?

It didn't matter we just had the magpies looking forward not over it's shoulder....... grrrrrr

The older logos had the magpie looking over it's should to the left. Now it's looking forward but facing back as a sign of not forgetting about their past or something like that.

When I say Bigpond I mean whoever does their graphics.
The AFL club sites are all standardised now and use modified versions of the same generic AFL approved templates. As Bigpond is supposedly "partnering" the AFL in the entire AFL site I am assuming, with the AFL's other matters to look after, that Bigpond are looking after the maintenance of the sites, which would include the graphic design.
I could be completely wrong of course.

Here are my logo's.
One has the real Magpie.
One the original.
MarsII, I can't upload .psd to photobucket so if you want the .psd copies give me a PM and I can zip em and email em. They don't have the white around them and you can just plop them on to any image or video you like without having to crop the edges.

These are big copies and look a bit scratchy around the edges, but that disappears when you scale them down to usable size.

I don't get the butchers apron? Do you mean the watermark "w"?
