Our piss weak Cheer Squad

Week after week, they just give me the shits. It's not the lame chants or any of that crap, it's that they're only up and about if we're winning or look like winning, now when we're down in the dumps. They're meant to lead the fans in chanting on the team, and they do absolutely jack sh*t, it really buggers me up the wall. 2 Sydney goals to kick off the last quarter, they were looking as flat as tacks, where as supporters around the wings were as rowdy as ever.

Surely there's got to be some posters on here that are in the Cheer Squad, yes? My request is 'could you please show some Carlton spirit?'

FWIW I thought today's cheer squad banner for Waite's 100th game was pathetic ... Waite is far from my fave player, but he deserved a lot better then that crappy kindergarden paper-mache effort ...
I also stand behind the cheer squad at the Dome, but gee whiz, they are really sterile and they lack the feral element that makes the hallmarks of other cheer squads ..
My observations is that there is a few maria's (wog chics), some little guy who looks like the dude who eates flies in the Bela Lugosi Vampire flick, and some funny old man who looks like Papa Smurf/and or Santa Claus ...
We need more toothless ferals in that lot IMHO ..

Because that's what cheer squads are supposed to do, you dung-eating imbecile. Surely the prerequisite is to ****ing cheer? How hard can it be? Even your mob had something to get happy about last night. If they don't want to work it, **** them off and get some kids with a bit of go about them.

i was in the cheer squad today and they did chant when carlton were down, i don't know where you were sitting.

there are alot of women and children though, every week.

and as for other posters saying that the cheer squad isn't 'feral' enough.
a kid got kicked out for bad-mouthing sydney players then was a smart-arse to the security guard, someone nearly hit chamberlain with the ball when they threw it back onto the ground (intentionally) and someone threw a bottle of water on the field at the end of the game.

even if we were wimps and were not 'feral'. what is the shame in being respectable? and not being spitting cowards?

if there was no cheer squad i would like to see supporters spread across the stadium organize a chant.

I was listenning in on the radio and thought the crowd sounded shitty. Couldnt tell the difference in the the crowd from when sydney kicked a goal to when we did, and i can never understand a word of BT's Commentary.
