Haven't we only had the away strip for one year? If so, i think AFL rules require us to have it for two seasons. The club is using the new addidas super tight technology for all their strips next season. It's the same fabric used by the all blacks. Adealide, Colingwood and Essendon will all be sporting it next season.

I think they needed to adjust the yellow "away" guernsey, because the numbers were hard to make out, besides that, I think the only change was going to be the "super-tight" guernsey's.

Is "Dreaded Red" going???

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I wish they would either bin that red away strip forever or tell the manufacturer to actually make it red.

Instead of the mauve/pink/light red ... whatever it is

AND, don't have any "smears", just replicate the horizontal hoops

I reckon a mostly yellow away strip would be worth a try. Altho one post here suggests it has already ... I must have forgotten it?

i reckon something kind of similar to that heritage guernsey we wore against port (when they had sads because it was like the south australian origin jumper) would be cool

I am pretty sure that the red jumper of death is gone.

Not a huge fan of the "new" away jumper I much prefer the previous one.

I do agree that the yellow jumper we wore against Port was great and would be a great jumper to have as an away jumper.

I may be wrong but wasn’t this jumper supposed to be the away jumper or the clash jumper last year? (2008)

I thought John Reid said on AA that they decided to remove it after the first away game and use the red one instead because there was some confusion with the numbers? I thought he also said that they suggested to Adidas that they change the white outline on the number and they would try again next year.

So i believe the red one will only be the clash jumper and the yellow one is now the away jumper.

We wore that one (with a different back and blue numbers) a few times. I remember him on the radio mention the numbers being a problem, but not sure he said they were a reason for not wearing it, we probably wore it again after that.

Definitely was not used as much as our away jumper should be.

ok ok Im not trolling here, IMO Adelaide NEEDS a new home jumper could adelaide ever ditch the horizontol stripes and do sumthing like the eagles, where they have an eagle (in your case crow) in the middle and work around it? something like west coasts would be prety cool:thumbsu:

I hope we never drastically change our home strip, I think we need to build some tradition and we have won two flags in that jumper already.

I dont mind experimenting with our away strip, but leave the home one. I think everyone remembers that vomit orange top the Eagles produced one year.

Richmond could also get rid of their yellow sash
Essendon could get rid of their red sash
Collingwood could get rid of their black and white (or white and black :P) stripes
but we all know this won't happen

Would Richmond do the same thing? If so what would your response be and i think you have your answer.

For the record – that’s a no for me.

Erm how about no.

am i the only one who didnt havent a problem reading those numbers?
personally i think you should stick with that jumper but maybe just give it yellow numbers if its really a problem.

also one change that should be made to adelaides home jumper is getting rid of those blue cuts through your hoops.

we've seen collingwoods with Leon wearing the new Ultra tight fitting strip but have we seen a crows one yet?

Intersting it was Leon wearing the new jumper. The photoshoot would of been done some time ago I would guess mid July at the earliest. Wasnt there some rumours he was going to Port this year. With Choco alluding to them. These photos say that was all bulldust.
