Was named MVP as Mercy, which ended up with the hilarious 'highlights' package of me hiding and healing. Pharah is probably my favourite at the moment; just running around spamming rockets.

Used Bastion for the first time last night. He is so cheap lol. No wonder I see heaps of people using him. Half decent team and I could lock down the cap point on my own with a 16 kill streak and the highlight which deservedly earned a couple jeers at the end. It's not his damage output or anything, I think he just switches between gun and turret too quickly. You can run and pew pew enemies, sucker them around a corner and quickly turn into turret and mow them down. Had one game where there were 2 camped in turret form as well as the dude who drops the turret at an escort and it seemed so lame as we couldn't get through but everything has a counter. I just went Reinhardt and we pushed through.

Roadhog is still my man, especially when defending and I'm using Reinhardt when my team is attacking.

When no one votes for your 3 minute objective time or your 17 objective kills but epic vote the guy with 10 turret kills on the losing team or the damage blocked by Reinhart on the losing side.

"its just a damn popularity contest with you kids"

Objective should win all day, everyday. I know the voting doesn't get you anything, just an interesting observation of what players deem important.

I mostly give my votes to whoever ran heals/support

Just beat a team of 3 Bastions and 2 Mercy's, was a pain in the ass to push them to the final objective but once we got there all we had to do was wipe them to win. I'm really starting to like Torbjorn, even have the Blackbeard skin for him.

If anyone is on PC add me: SirDeadly221#1888

Man there are some dumb players in this game, playing support is rough when your team are a bunch of turkeys.
Yep. So frustrating, so many times as Mercy just left by team mates in horrendous positions. It's like they don't even know I can heal them.

Torbjorn is boss.

I reckon at least 75% of the time I pop Transcendence as Zenyatta and my entire team boots it in the opposite direction.

I don't know what they think is happening but I hate them.

When you're offering support and it works it's great. As Mercy I managed to keep my team alive and stop the payload mere metres from the goal for a good three minutes. Dudes were going out getting a kill or two and coming back for a heal. I was buffing and healing. Rince and repeat.

Most games though it seems as though nobody plays support.

Reaper is incredibly easy to use. Possibly too easy. Especially when you get your ultimate.
But it's great fun anyway :p

Also liking Pharah, Genji and Junkrat so far.

I gravitate towards tank in everything since WoW. I've found Reinhardt for attacking since you can cover your team with the shield, and Roadhog for defense as you can hold down the objective by corner camping and popping out to chain + blow away an attacker.

When a tank is already selected I'm yet to find my groove with anyone else yet. For healers I have to go Mercy because I still can't get the hang of getting involved AND support, I can only seem to focus on healing. I tried Bastion once and never again because it felt like absolute cheese. I don't mind Widowmaker but I feel too campy playing her. I want to like Reaper but I don't think I'm playing him right yet as I'm always getting squished.

Bnet launcher is crack though. Haven't really played my PC properly in ages, probably early season 5 D3. So I jump on for Overwatch then gravitate to D3. Now I'm playing some season 6 I see all my old buds playing WoW and they're asking if I'm going to give Legion a go. Lesson for kids is the BNet launcher is a gateway drug. Don't do it.

I play a fair bit of reaper. Definitely have the most success as a flanker. You want to get in, smash their healer and then use your invulnerable shift ability to move on out. Once you're close to building up the ultimate, find a good ledge in a high traffic area, wait til they're distracted and then tele up there, drop down and harvest their whole team.

Two biggest mistakes I see people doing are using the invuln/tele to get into battles and secondly trying for headshots. The way the spread works on his guns (roadhog too) you always want to aim for centre mass.
