Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but the club has moved the AGM back to February. Typical ****ing Koch & Co.

Over the last 5 years (including this year) the AGMs have been held in February the following year in 4 of them. Last year was the anomaly.

Koch changed them after at least 30 years that I'm aware of being held in December.

The last consecutive one was December 2012, his first as chairman, and then he moved them to February, so that we didn't spend too much time looking back. If its in December members want to talk about the season just gone as the AGM is about reviewing the season just gone, as much as it is about the future.

We have also lost our August members info night that Boulton and Duncanson always attended and the various CEO's also attended.

Tredders asked why can't we have it in December, there was no good reason why not, and we had 2 last year, February 2024 and December 2024. They announce the financial result in the first week of December so that's when the AGM should be close to like the majority of other AFL clubs. Report financial result in late November or early December and have the AGM before Christmas.

This exact paragraph is why I hate that the AGM has been moved to February, because it is Koch and the board trying to avoid accountability as best they can instead of facing up to and doing the right thing for the club, i.e sack Hinkley. Especially during periods like at the end of 2017 and 2023, particularly in 2023, where fate had all his ducks lined up after losing to the Giants in the SF, one of many great times to sack Ken due to the fact he was out of contract. Apart from the 400k owed, we could move on to Josh or another coach back two years ago for the 2024 season instead of allowing a year like this to happen.

Lol. As if Bitcho made this happen.
The initial work was done by CD and Shane Grim but Richo was responsible for the final submissions to the AFL. In fact he probably had his hands all over this from the start.

He sent the email. Brilliant work.

It's a bit ordinary that he couldn't answer the question on Dougie's availability for the Magpies next year.

He did duck and weave a bit on our interest in Ah Chee, but I would be surprised to see us make a move there. He probably just doesn't know what we've done there.

The more likely question is does he actually know anything at all ?
