Know him? I went to school with him. :D

Top bloke, and top sportsman. Speaks volumes that he won the Morrish Medal in 1995 over blokes like Brent Harvey and Darren Milburn. I'd say his lack of height and pace were the only things that prevented him being drafted. As mentioned before, he did kick butt in the GFL though.

He'll do a great job at the Falcons IMO. :thumbsu: On ya Hoody!

Finished playing at Joeys in 2007. Has worked his way through the Falcons program with assisting and coaching roles in the Under 15 and 16's. Coached St. Joeys College First XVIII in ACC and Herald Shield comps for a few years. Great coach, very positive person and excellent communicator, especially with the 17 and 18 year olds due to his teaching background.

Great work Hoody!

Thanks for that. Seems this is his first go as a head coach at a relatively significant level. Having been around the Falcons for so long they’d know his attributes well. Congrats to him.

Has been an assistant coach at the falcons. Great bloke. Should coach them well.
