According to the paper, Perrie is likely to be out for months with his knee - this then would mean a rookie could be elevated - I guess given the shortage of talls this could mean they might go for Bonaddio. Are there any other options?

Bonaddio? Yeah why not. We could use another play as a replacement for the player we love to hate (ala Sarge in his early days).

Hmm...last night it was 2-6 weeks, today the paper said 3 months and the footy show said 4-8 weeks. I'll be waiting for something from the club:thumbsu:

I didn't get to see last nights game due to a family function... what happened to Perrie?!?!?

He went up in a marking contest and his left knee went into the back of McPharlane.

Nobody will know anything until he gets the knee scanned tomorrow. I love how everyone bandies around a time frame without knowing for sure what the injury is! I particularly liked Roo's profound reply when asked about Perrie "Yeah, it looks like a knee".... well DUH. :D

So very true Jenny :)

According to Bicks tonight, Sarge could be out for up to 8 weeks.

Trevor Jaques said 4 weeks is probably the norm but sometimes you get + or - 2 weeks on either side. In other words anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending on the recouprative power of the individual and the extent of the injury.

I get the feeling Sarge will be back sooner than 8 weeks. He doesn't get injured very often and he appears to be good at recovering from injuries.

Yep that's true. They are saying anywhere from 2 - 10 weeks untill the scan is done. More than likely it wont be 2. Didn't hear anything snap, the leg just went dead like getting a dead leg. Hopefully for the big Sarge it wont be too many.

Ch 7 news said 8-10 as there was more damage than was originally thought. Makes you wonder what Dr Rucci based his diagnosis on ...

CH10 said it was 4-10 weeks and that he also "stretched" his ACL as well as damaging his PCL

Heard that too Stiffy. That's like saying the maximum temperature tomorrow will be somewhere between 15 and 35.

10 weeks would be more like it - 4 quite ridiculous.
