IMO, Cotchin @ Carlton probably just > Kreuzer @ Carlton, but you have to factor in your track record with developing young players...Suck s**t carltank . We got the best player in the Draft and the best defender aswell![]()

I would rather finish 9th that tank for draft picks . Carltank stuffed up big time in this draft . But i guess you don't get a choice of who the number 1 pick is when you tank every year for the last three
Errr correction - you tanked to finish 16th.I would rather finish 9th that tank for draft picks . Carltank stuffed up big time in this draft . But i guess you don't get a choice of who the number 1 pick is when you tank every year for the last three

Kruezer is the best talent in this draft by a long long way.
So was Clive Waterhouse (another of Wayne's belters).![]()
Funny how you note that some people rate morton higher, yet what are the odds that you would have ripped us for picking a soft flanker over a genuine inside class midfielder?lol. Hardly. Kruezer is the best talent in this draft by a long long way. The Jury is still out as to whether Cotchin is the second best talent of the draft - many rate Morton higher.
Obviously you have no idea. Richmond had a list of about 9 players for pick 18, which did not include either Selwood or Rance who they expected to go before the pp. The time was used to figure out which player to get out of those two.I had to laugh when the bumbling Miller had to call 2 timeouts with his second round pick. He obviously only had an option list 3 deep for his 2nd round pick, and when those players were taken by other Clubs, he was caught out and didn't know what to do. It was a little embarrassing.
Speed won't be an issue. He won't be playing on the Riewoldt/Pavlich types, Thursfield will cover those. He will play on the bigger bodies Hall/Gehrig types. 3.1 sec over 20 is pretty decent anyway.A tallish defender sounds good though. Only concern his his lack of speed off the mark, which could by exposed on fast leading forwards like Fev. This was the reason he was overlooked by the WA Clubs and a few others apparently. He can read the play very well though, which should make up for this deficiency to some extent.
I'd take McMahon over any of the rucks taken after pick 19 any day.And you got the latest of latest rucks in the draft. I just think the Tiges missed a massive opportunity by trading away an early second round pick for that Terry-favourite Bulldogs B-grader. With that pick you could have secured some of the best ruck quality in the draft. Yet another Miller disaster.![]()
..... Richmond had a list of about 9 players for pick 18, which did not include either ....
Yes we did. Richmond have an annual draft night where they discuss our options and they openly stated 12 players they didn't think were any chance of making it to pick 18. You can continue to lie if you want but it won't change the fact you are wrong. No he didn't. It was hilarious watching Miller bumbling all over the place when the 3-4 players on his shortlist were all taken, and he went into a bit of a panic.

No Parrot there is more than one circumstance that teams require more time. Hard concept maybe for you to fathom. I already gave you the reason why, and it is both reasonable and true. Not a sign of incompetence, but a sign of good fortune.Well, Miller was obviously under-prepared. You only call 2 timeouts, when your desired players don't fall to you, and you need a plan B or plan C. Miller CLEARLY wasn't prepared, which is a sign of incompetence.

Perhaps the valid reason already stated. Parrot can you stop being so wrong all the time?A toilet break perhaps? Perhaps he left the list in the car? Miller is the ultimate symbol of list management incompetence.![]()
I just wonder how much longer Richmond will put up with his relentless, predictable incompetence. BTW trading away an early 2nd round pick for a Bulldogs B-grader was pure, Miller trademark stupidity. A classic Miller stuffup.![]()
