Suck s**t carltank . We got the best player in the Draft and the best defender aswell:p:p
IMO, Cotchin @ Carlton probably just > Kreuzer @ Carlton, but you have to factor in your track record with developing young players...

I mean, face it, you could have the first 50 selections in a draft and 5 years later could still look back disappointedly. Your player development is atrocious and subsequently, no draftee, Cotchin included, will ever reach his potential playing for Ninthmond. Actually, would you like me to use Sixteenthmond? Perhaps it's more appropriate ;)

I would rather finish 9th that tank for draft picks . Carltank stuffed up big time in this draft . But i guess you don't get a choice of who the number 1 pick is when you tank every year for the last three

Then you better support a new club because I've never seen a club tank a season more clearly than Richmond did this year. Who sacks their best defender six games into the season unless they're tanking bigtime?

Errr correction - you tanked to finish 16th.

Thanks, do come again! :D :thumbsu:

So you would rather finish 9th and get know where, then finishing last sacrificing a season by letting your young players have a run even if that means losing some games to develop them so in the end you will be better off an your team will improve and go places?

we can see that you club has the same mentallity as you to play shit players and get know where.. we can all see how well thats been going for you...

content with ninth place? you can have it.. our time at the bottom has passed where on the way up, you can keep your ninth position..

lol. Hardly. Kruezer is the best talent in this draft by a long long way. The Jury is still out as to whether Cotchin is the second best talent of the draft - many rate Morton higher. I had to laugh when the bumbling Miller had to call 2 timeouts with his second round pick. He obviously only had an option list 3 deep for his 2nd round pick, and when those players were taken by other Clubs, he was caught out and didn't know what to do. It was a little embarrassing. A tallish defender sounds good though. Only concern his his lack of speed off the mark, which could by exposed on fast leading forwards like Fev. This was the reason he was overlooked by the WA Clubs and a few others apparently. He can read the play very well though, which should make up for this deficiency to some extent. And you got the latest of latest rucks in the draft. I just think the Tiges missed a massive opportunity by trading away an early second round pick for that Terry-favourite Bulldogs B-grader. With that pick you could have secured some of the best ruck quality in the draft. Yet another Miller disaster. :)

Funny how you note that some people rate morton higher, yet what are the odds that you would have ripped us for picking a soft flanker over a genuine inside class midfielder?

Obviously you have no idea. Richmond had a list of about 9 players for pick 18, which did not include either Selwood or Rance who they expected to go before the pp. The time was used to figure out which player to get out of those two.

Speed won't be an issue. He won't be playing on the Riewoldt/Pavlich types, Thursfield will cover those. He will play on the bigger bodies Hall/Gehrig types. 3.1 sec over 20 is pretty decent anyway.

I'd take McMahon over any of the rucks taken after pick 19 any day.

..... Richmond had a list of about 9 players for pick 18, which did not include either ....

No he didn't. It was hilarious watching Miller bumbling all over the place when the 3-4 players on his shortlist were all taken, and he went into a bit of a panic. Not one, but 2 timeouts had to be called. The KP defender should be OK, the only question is his lack of speed off the mark, which could be an issue against fast leading forwards. Miller really is a complete mess. I just wonder how much longer Richmond will put up with his relentless, predictable incompetence. BTW trading away an early 2nd round pick for a Bulldogs B-grader was pure, Miller trademark stupidity. A classic Miller stuffup. :)

Yes we did. Richmond have an annual draft night where they discuss our options and they openly stated 12 players they didn't think were any chance of making it to pick 18. You can continue to lie if you want but it won't change the fact you are wrong.

Well, Miller was obviously under-prepared. You only call 2 timeouts, when your desired players don't fall to you, and you need a plan B or plan C. Miller CLEARLY wasn't prepared, which is a sign of incompetence. He knew he was going to take Cotchin at 2, so all he had to do was construct a long enough list. Miller is a complete mess, and totally unprofessional. You are sitting solid bottom, with a list in tatters after several years of Major Miller gaffs. Surely that should sound a few little Alarm Bells. lol. :)

No Parrot there is more than one circumstance that teams require more time. Hard concept maybe for you to fathom. I already gave you the reason why, and it is both reasonable and true. Not a sign of incompetence, but a sign of good fortune.

I noticed on another thread you ripped a tiger supporter for their opinion because it made them feel better about themselves. Perhaps you should take the same advice.

I don't know how fair it is to blame this one on Miller when it is so obvious that Wallet was behind it. Unless it is Miller's fault for allowing Wallet to...?
