Have you ever thought of judging a player over more than one game and what he contributes to the TEAM, other than the obvious?
Having said that, those misses in the first half were very telling

I actually gave him votes today. Sure his kicking isnt the best, but he is composed in the centre of the ground and his handballing under pressure is amazing. He just makes things happen.

I thought the fact he was left at half back on Stevens cost us. His run in the midfield in the first half along with Winders was what put us in the position we where in. Jetta, Johnson and a few others need to be looked at before Pev.

He can get the ball but his decision making and skills are deplorable, it doesnt matter if you get it 25 times if you cant cant put it to your teams advantage.

Actually 3 good games now. Get off his back until he at least plays a couple of bad ones. Hate to see when he has a bad one.

Couldnt believe this thread when I saw it. I thought Peverill was brillant today- really hurt us in the first half, and set up some good plays. Wouldn't drop this guy if I was Sheedy, no way.

Im kind of thinking the same thing, his kicking is shocking. I thought Pev would make way for JJ, but at the moment Pev looks to be more valuable in the side than Jobe does (and his kicking is better IMO), so i think Jobe might just make way for JJ.

There is no way he should be dropped untill JJ is ready and has match practice at bendigo.
Pev was fantastic for us. Easily in our top five for the day; his disposal was excellent. Made less mistakes by foot than Lloyd or Lucas did.

I really wonder what game people are watching at times. The guy only made a couple errors and people want to drop him,
Yeah, him coming in depends entirely on his form in bebigo today if he plays for them, but if he plays good, i think he should replace watson. Sheeds may however save him till anzac day mind you with the up coming short break... and i also wouldn't be surprised if hirdy didn't play next week.

pev played a good game and if jj was to come in next week it would be one of, if not both, either jetta or heff. if we decide to bring in campo as well or maybe johns those will be the two guys who should miss out

Yeh id have to agree, If we had of had Welsh at half forward tagging scotland like he was in the first 2 rounds, things would've been different i think.
