I seen him play a few times this year. I had seen him play previously and even played U11 with him (which is where is seen his handballing shimmy) but last year and the year before he was no more than an average kid with some talent. He is now a genuine draft chance in many eyes in the mallee.

Brisbane Draft pick 86

Haydn Kiel, - QLD

15/01/88 180cm, 79kg,

Versatile small HBF/mid/HFF/ Likes to run and carry and applies good pressure when he doesn't have the ball. Could become a good tagger.

That completes Brisbane's drafting in this Trail.

Thanx guys an interesting exercises. It will be interesting to see how different the next one will be. Not long now.

That mean I am doing pick 102 (and possibly 118) :D :p ;) Please...

Given that Urquhart has had OP all year, and was AA 18's last year, does anyone think he may go earlier than anticipated? 1st Round?

Or will it go the other way - will he slide regardless.

Yeah, but some people consider players like O'Brien 1st round, yet for a fair while Urquhart was considered a better player. Will recruiters strongly consider his OP and realise that with a full pre-season at AFL level, become a much improved player?

Most players have successfully come back from OP, so its effect is temporary only. OP in the year leading up to the draft will affect the kid's development, but if recruiting managers had already seen enough of what they like, then injury shouldn't matter too much when it comes to selection.

Yeah I'm only suggesting that it has affected his form this year, and therefore his ranking. Not is potential.

exactly, shocking desision considering whos left, and if we were going for anyone, would be the 22 year old Aaron Edwards.

boys wait til the realy draft hey, have a massive smokey who IS highly rated by the clubs, who is going to draft camp and WHO can play, just didnt wanna let the name out yet, so chose haynes as a dummy pick!

Someone must take Colin Garland will go between 28 and 40 so at this stage will be a steal.

pick 89 - aaron edwards (frankston)

kicked the ton in VFL this year. has shown he can take a mark at AFL level, but the injuries and kicking issues from his time at the eagles seem to be rectified. adds a versitile forward who can play out of the goalsquare or around half forward.

As Phillhawk isn't interested in this anymore, Richmond get the highest ranked player in Grub's top 75, which is Ben Ross.

Can i be Richmond?
I am supporter so i know what we need and i see alot of TAC.

Was afraid I might not get online today, and my pick would have come and gone!! But seems its all slowin down. Hopefully get it crackin this arvo as I'm doubtful I'll be online tonight.

Pick 90 - Colin Garland
Hasnt been playing the game for long but he has all the basic skills needed. He is quick for his size and is a reasonable mark and has already been playing VFL.
