1. Melbourne- Tom Scully
Done deal, future captain of MFC.

2. Melbourne- Jack Trengove
Trengove and Scully will be a good midfield for the next 10 years

3. Richmond- Dustin Martin
I think he is the best player of the draft and Richmond need an elite mid with this pick. Simon Black MKII

4. Fremantle- Anthony Morabito
WA boy, next best and will slot nicely into freos midfield

5. Nth Melbourne- Gary Rohan
Think they will take Rohan here as they need outside mids with pace, and Rohan has lots of that. I dont rate him to be honest and hope he is gone before the eagles pick.

6. Sydney- Ben Cunnington

Looking for an elite mid with this pick and cunnington is the next best.

7. West Coast- Kane Lucas
WA boy, 6.2 athletic mid with good decision making, a typical woodhouse selection. Also plays well off a high half forward, and is probably where he will start his AFL career.

8. Port Adelaide- John Butcher
Looking for a KPF in this draft and I think Butcher will be too good to pass up.

9. Port Adelaide- Luke Tapscott

Aside from KPF, port will look for mids and HF players and Tapscott ticks all the boxes. Also a SA boy so no go home factor.

10. Essendon- Jake
Melksham
Will take the next best mid here and fits the dons front running game plan.

11. Melbourne- Lewis Jetta
Maybe a suprise selection but i think this is where he will land, and he has commented he would like to play for melbourne.

12. Carlton- Jake Carlisle

Carlton are looking for a KPP with the departure of Fev and also looking to fill a hole in their backline. Carlisle can be a swingman and go forward or back.

13. Adelaide- Brad Sheppard
Who knows who adelaide will pick, but sheppard is a gun so ill put him here.

14. Sydney- Daniel Talia
After taking a mid i think they will look for a KP back and Talia is the man.

15. Western Bulldogs- Aaron Black
Need a KPF and think Black is a good fit.

16. Port Adelaide- Koby Stevens
After taking Butcher, i think they will strengthen their midfield stocks and take Stevens here.

17. Geelong- Andrew Moore
Utility and running defender to take over from milburn/harley.

And the inside sauce.................................

:p:rolleyes:

the masterfoods squeezy sauce has always been a very reliable sauce, it also paved the way for sauce in a squeezy bottle. before that it was always in a glass bottle where sauce amounts couldn't be accurately predicted.

Nice draft by the way, if you say Martin is the best player in the draft why don't you have him going to Melb? Just because everyone on BigFooty says that Scully/Trengove will be 1/2 doesnt mean its gonna happen that way

i must say for Sydney if that happens the selection comittee would be partying so hard they may not make it in time for their next pick
Also if it goes that way for port getting butcher, tapscott and stevens they may as well not come back for the other picks

You seem to suggest that Melksham is a front runner? I find that comment somewhat surprising. IMO he has great inside ability.

Yeh i agree he can win his own ball but he doesnt run back very hard compared to his great work running forward something which he will no doubt work on when drafted. I would say hes more of an outside mid beause he can read the play well and is pretty explosive and evasive out of packs. Its a tough one though because hes a bit of a mix. A great player though as he showed in the TAC grandfinal :thumbsu:

Yes Melksham had a great grand final but was the rest of his year that good and worth a #10 in the draft??

Stevens, Jetta or even Troy Taylor may be better options for the Bombers first pick IMO

Yup if we pick up Butcher, Tapscott and Stevens we will pack up quickly and quietly and start our celebrations early, would be a massive win for Port. Hoping either of Stevens or Melksham slide to us at 16, Butcher and Tapscott at 8 & 9 you would think would almost be locks if they're available.

I think the bombers will take a mid with pick 10 so that rules out jetta and taylor. Stevens is an option and i think it will be out him, melksham or gysberts if no mids slip.

i see Andrew Moore coming into first rounds everywhere does anyone have info on him and IMO geelong might take vardy or fitzpatrick to cover ottens as their ruck stocks are sender

you may be disappointed come draft day then, mrs mercs. but you probably won't be disappointed in a year or two when melksham's versatility has made him a very valuable player. has a better all-round game as a mid than stevens imo.

Pardon? You know Jetta plays wing, ie midfield? Well, that's where I watched him all year at Swan Districts anyway!:thumbsu:

Yeh i know that but i think essendon will take a true midfielder, which i dont believe jetta is imo. Take watson out of their midfield and its pretty average, which got found out when he was injured this year.

richmond taking martin nice. and still some talent you left out of the first round. so if this was how it happened richmond will get a very good player at 19 and Martin.

Yeh well i think martin is a lock unless hes taken at 2, which means you will take trengove. Either way you will get a gun mid. Also you will get some talent at 19, it happens every year for differing reason such as swift last year (obviously due to injury concerns). What type of player do u think the tigs will take here?

I like Moore, but if the draft depth is weak I wouldn't be surprised if we take the ruckman in round 1 (rather than wait for a later pick) as it's our biggest need
