Under no circumstances should we do anything else but use Pick to get the player we want, which should be Horne-Francis. let me make myself further clear by saying I know nothing about this Pick swapping caper, so take the next bit with a substantial grain of salt.

If Adelaide wins next week and Collingwood loses, GWS will have second pick. I wonder if GWS, for salary cap reasons, might approach us with a deal to swap pick 2 plus a player like Hopper or Greene for our First Pick plus our Pick 20 or preferably 38? Fanciful some might say.

They can offer us 2, next year's 1st and something else.

Im not sure the clubs really give a sh*t if the player wants to be #1 or not, they will be thinking about how making Collingwood pay top dollar affects their later picks.

It may move them further out of the first few rounds which is essentially improving your own draft hand.

The way Nobes has presented himself, he's a straight shooter. I know that Brady makes the call, but Nobes will have some kind of influence.

He’s not a great kick. He’s not terrible, burn it’s certainly not a strength.

He certainly has the evasiveness, balance and acceleration for heavy traffic - nice addition to our midfield. The great thing for mine is theres a real balance between the type of mids they are, you dont feel like theres a sameness.

Hard to say. We'll have a better idea when they play against each other, and at this stage they're not really being compared on the open market since they're essentially already locked into their dads' clubs

Sorry, but it will in all likelihood be another 49 years before we get another number 1 pick, I want him playing for us, Horne with #1 let the Crows or GWS play those games

Regardless, it's highly unlikely that no club bids on either of them and just lets them fall to Collingwood and Footsdogs for free.

If he is a good as he is touted to be playing games to try and get to where he wants will do little to put clubs off.

I would find it extremely surprising if a kid that has been dreaming of playing AFL is going to turn up and sabotage 2 years of his career just so he can go home.
