I've got a mate round who was telling right now me he was captaining a cricket game against the team Grenville was captaining and the needed a couple of runs with four wickets left and me mate's team got the last four wickets for nothing. LOL. Now he's singing North Adelaide's song. He played there for four or five years in the early 90s.

Yep, I agree. Vic folk chronically underrate WA clubs' players. Pavlich for example was an absolute gun for nearly all his career. And Hill at his best was unreal.

I would love to meet this apocryphal Victorian who didn't rate Pavlich. For his entire career, he was rated and for his entire career there were WA people telling us that we didn't rate him.

We just found that out today! My mate was mates with him years ago when he lived in Adelaide, mutual friends or something. He was a bit of a loose unit judging by the stories I've heard about him. Gun pool player apparently.

Yes.

South Australia u/19's have 2 games in the next fortnight against the Allies and then against WA again.

He's their captain and he stunk in the last game he played for them, so I'd expect he will be playing.

A tad stiff we are had we scored just one more point against GWS , played the Crows in Melb and not had our fair share of injuries we wouldn't have finished last. Bloody unlucky I tell ya's.

Now we've got to work our way out of this drafting pickle.

Is it just me or did he basically confirm we'll be drafting him? Felt to me Nobes was reading the question more like do we take him with pick 1 or do we bid on Daicos.

Nothing to gain from him playing these games.
He's an 18 year old who has just had a long SANFL season and deserves a rest so he can get ready for his first pre season at AFL level. He doesn't need to be playing games well into October.
