Aren't invitees normally those who could go top 10? All of them fit the bill except I would have thought Nicholas Shipley who I haven't seen in any top 20 conversations. Can't even argue he's there to be GWS top choice (local and all) as you'd think they'd take someone else at 11.

Naughton looks like a big spud to me. He might be better than a few right now but wait 5 years and Stephenson and Co will be so much better. Naughton career will spiral downward from years 1-3 you watch like J Cloke and N.Brown. You watch.

I’m hoping the club is just playing coy on him, but I agree, the lack of noise around him probably means we aren’t interested.

There was quite a bit about JDG
Not sure about the other 2 as I didn't really follow the draft back then.

JDG was only a couple of days before the draft. Was still rated 10-20 before that. He did have a good TAC GF but wasn’t talked about breaking the top 10.

Thomas was huge after his TAC grand final, kicking 4 goals. Pendles was not a peep.
