I went down there this morning and checked the boys out while taking notes so here we go:

- They were over an hour later than expected before they came out, but were really pumped up
- Mick was having a few words to Daisy before training
- Players went into stretches and Wakelin seemed a bit sore at first, not being able to complete all the stretches
- Buckley and Rusling were absent
- They then split into two groups up each end of the centre square and side handballed in pairs until reaching the other end
- Holland, Richards, Thomas and Wellingham looking very fit
- Then they broke into two groups again and started kicking down each end
- Intensity was good
- Then they swapped ends and did it again
- Harry needs a shave :p
- They then got into four groups and did cross over handballs around the centre square
- Martin Clarke looked really confident and had good skills
- They got closer in and then went right back further
- Maxwell was on fire, absolute brilliantly doing everything well
- Tyson Goldsack impressed me
- Wellingham had good leading and marking
- Davies seemed a bit slow but had good hands
- Half the group split onto the other oval (Davies, Clarke, Egan, Reid, H. Shaw, Cox, Wellingham, Illes, Nicholls, Macaffer & Brown)
- Main group did full ground kicking while the other group (mentioned above) did group handballs
- Pendlebury was outmarking Medhurst on the lead
- Licuria seemed comfortable at kickouts and had some good clearances
- Fraser and Richards seemed about equal at the ruck situations
- Burnsy snapped a good goal from the pocket
- Rocca and Medhurst both missed long range shots while Holland ran in to 15m out and scored
- Fraser doing some great roving as well and had a pin-point pass to Cloke
- Clement was kicking in up other end and was doing it well as usual
- Malthouse telling players to direct kick-ins
- Rocca kicked a long 60m goal
- They practiced throw in situations
- Pendlebury kicked a suberb goal from 55 metres out on the run from close the boundary line
- Rocca dropped an uncontested mark in the goal square before taking a contested mark on a lead
- Dick kicked a good goal from 30m out
- Rocca's mini-side won 5.1.31 to Medhurst's side 0.1.1 only reason i say that is because Medhurst scored that point and weren't sure of the exact teams
- O'Bree looked in good touch
- Malthouse lead group up other end
- More ruck contests
- Other group rejoined them
- Holland seems to be faster than last season
- Smaller group was taken by Brad Gotch and did some kicking drills which saw Reid in the goalsquare leading out while the others kicked to his lead
- Toovey talked to a trainer for a bit
- Rocca was having separate set shots - about 50-50 accuracy
- Session finished and Didak seemed to cope fine with the whole training session

Sorry about the layout. Any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks, Bucks continued abscense is a concern.

What impressed you about Goldsack? Good to hear but he did absolutely nothing for Willi last weekend.

His determination and running, skills seemed to be pretty good for a new draftee.

Don't worry people,Malthouse on sen said that bucks, will play round one,so we won't see him in action till then.Malthouse said that Bucks will be managed through the year, similar to last year.He will probably line up in the forward line game one.Good to hear that Fraser is well.Still not sure on whether dids should be played in Round 1 or 3.Must make sure he is fully recovered.Heard that his injury normally takes 12 months to heal.Hope they don't rush him back and pay the consequences.
Better to be safe than sorry.

I agree with you, but to be honest I could not tell any difference between him and any other player out there in terms of fitness and he was having shots for goal, running down the field, clearing the ball from throw-ins etc. :thumbsu:

Great report Pie4Life:thumbsu: Really appreciated!

Very heartening to hear that the Josh needing knee operations rumours were unfounded...

ps. Just heard on 3AW that Geoff Walsh called in to confirm that Bucks will defenitely play Round 1 against Kangas:thumbsu:

How did Clokey go?

He had good leads, strong marks, good body on body work, tussled a bit with Rocca and seemed to be doing alright against him.

Bryan - One player I'm not sure whether he trained. There was a couple of trainers that joined in so I may have mistaken a trainer for Bryan but I doubt it. Don't think he trained but he could have. Didn't stand out in otherwords.

Yep the ruck coach is massive ;) .... not sure who he is though but he certainly stands out. Trainers pretty much always were blue tops during training though.
