We should trade Stanton to GWS for pick one and draft Boyd.

I would have thought that Dumont/Dunstan/Crouch would go to Brisbane first, with them assuming they wouldn't slide past us and then get another KPP if they feel they require one. They've got 5 second rounders, I think they'll take at least another kpp, merrett, goose and Brown are getting on
A month too late.We should trade Stanton to GWS for pick one and draft Boyd.

The other one I wouldn't mind is Billy Hartung, but I can't see him sliding past St Kilda at picks 18 and 19I want Crouch personally. Dumont and Dunstan would be beautiful too.

Going to give me the shits seeing Garlett playing for the Hawks when we have the best chance to get him.
Will be another Cyril moment.
Edit - Make him live with NLM.
I'm the opposite. Hope he goes to that club, get him as far away from Essendon. He's exactly what we don't need publicity wise
He is some kind of guru though. Surely that counts for something.nlm isn't a god you know
That why he stays with NLM.

NLM retires from AFL to pursue career in wing-taking-undering.
Still feel that is way too much of a gamble on Apeness and mids are available!

I kind of agree, he seems like he's been a bit over rated by virtue of being one of maybe 3 half decent big men other than Boyd.
I would have no problem taking him if he was worth it- but you don't take a tall for the sake of it...and next year's draft is a KPP draft!
Yeah, the pressing need is for a ready to play forward/ruck who can come in if Ryder/TBC/JD/Hurley/Carlise get injured. Apeness doesn't really fulfill that requirement. The back up doesn't even need to be that good, just someone who can act as depth for a few years until whoever we do get (maybe Conlon as a rookie, Nankervis at 55, or Apeness with 26) does come good. But if Dodoro does rate Apeness at 26 then I'm happy to go with it, that man has had a pretty good eye for talent of late.
