Again both good players. Goddard probably has a little more potential upside (maybe 2-3ppg) but also has slightly bigger durability concerns. Both to average 90-100 IMO.
Mundy v Adcock

If you dont know why someone would pick mundy, well its cos his durable, has always improve on previous year, has low TOG, and could imrpove to average 80...
Mundy will spend the majority of his time in midfield this year. The only reason he would go back is injuries.

Sorry if these have already been done.
Ye, they were the two I was leaning toward. thanks
It's Roy yeh? haha.Interesting cruiser. Because from what i read on the carlton board, and also asked a couple of them, they said walker was likely to play mainly MF time in 2009 - been working in MF, working in centre square with judd etc, that sort of vibe. But i can see how playing him inside 50 would make the FW line much stronger for you.
So a different position does potentially add some uncertainty to walker.
Who else are others looking to replace chad with if he isnt a back? find the extra money and put in another of fisher/goddard? Going for newman?
I havent thought about it a great deal, though when i get my prospectus, Chads page will be the first i turn to (then deledios - still hoping he'll be a FW!).
Walker has been named as a back and a forward so they seem to have caught on to Walker playing up forward a bit this year. As i said he won't be cut out of the midfield, should play on the wing, it's just i think he will be more effective up forward. With his athleticism and speed he could prove to be a difficult match-up across HF and in the square on rare occasions. Not sure how this effects his DT value this year, being named as a forward also, probably not a great deal because there have been a few good players added to the forwards, i.e. Deledio, Harvey.
Deledio, Harvey and Goodwin have sured up the top end premium forwards - there sure wasn't alot to pick from this year. I'm going to be sooo tempted to pick up Boomer now...

He could be named as a ruck and i wouldnt touch him, too injury prone imo, just another Drummond. I have no doubt that on the paddock for 22 games he could be a DT start but just can't put that trust in him, way too risky for me. I know no risk no reward, but their are safer option around the price. So many factors to look at when selecting a player and durability is at the top of my list this year after being burnt 2008.
