The rumour doing the rounds tonight is 1 rookie and 5 senior players have been told they have been cut.

No clarification on who but you can easily come up with some names.

I notice that the article that supposedly states that Maxwell has signed a one year extension now no longer mentions him at all and that the only article on the afl site just says he "agreed to terms" not that he has signed anything.

Jolly, Johnson, Maxwell, Krakouer and Didak would sweep a bit of a broom through the oldest part of our list, leaving Lynch with a year of "supporting" the young rucks along with "Huddo" as an emergency.

Would mean that our oldest players aside from those two would be Ball and Swan at 29.
