My opinions about what we need have been put on other threads and i disagree that it is a trade that will benefit us...and a bit of general discussion has happened here as well.

But nothing too specific.

I am wondering what you guys think on this potential trade after tonights game? The kid is a local, can play each end of the ground, good size and reasonable agility, young, and is being named in all the rumours..( for what they are worth).

What do you reckon??

As an Essendon fan i will pass. Bradley will come of age in 1-2 years time and has shown alot of potential. Probably the most popular guy down at windy Hill aswell so i doubt his going anywhere.

haha you watched the game tonight didnt you ? it's his only decent game for the season. Repost in here this time next week and you will change his name for someone like Nick Davis

Your lack knowledge and relevance precedes you.

And if that is his first decent game for the season, and we decide we want him, he will come cheaper.

Thanks for that :thumbsu:

At the risk of repeating myself...your lack of knowledge, relevance, (and in this case), intelligence precedes you.

I'll resurrect this thread: Apparantly Kepler is dead keen to be back in Perth. Should we go after him?

Is he a quick, tall, skilful midfielder - if not, then definitely NO.

Who cares if they are from Perth - we are not a get home easy card. If they are good, we shouldn't care where they come from - right now, I think most of us would gladly take an alien from Mars if he could help sort our clearance issues. We don't need any more KPPs or talls who are neither midfielders nor KPPs.

NO!

Bradley as an 18's State player was sensational.

As an AFL player he is mediocre at best. Too big, too slow. Where once he was a lightly framed ruckman sized, midfielder/winger with plenty of run he is now a slow one dimensional stay-put KPP.

He is not the type we should be looking at.

I really won't be happy if we make a play for him. Totally superfluous to our needs and Sheedy would probably screw us out of more than he's worth.

Can he play ruck? I'd consider picking him up in the preseason draft as a reserve ruckman if he walks on Essendon. Otherwise let the eagles have him. He'd probably be the 2nd best KPP on their list.

No and no.

The guy is as much use as a chocolate fire guard...

I had to check whether you were an Essendon or a Freo supporter when I read what you wrote.
Then it dawned on me, Essendon supporters are less polite about his abilities.

I was once told by someone very close to Essendon that an opposition player was laughing at him on field saying their club were told to let him get the ball, because he only ever turned it over anyway.
The player relaying the story didn't think this was true, so he watched his next four disposals and they all went to the opposition.

Handy as a backup ruckman to Sandi and Warnock only IMO.

He will get better, it takes the big men longer to develop, and if happy at home he'll play better, but I certainly wouldn't give much up for him.

I'm keen to pursuit Bradley, we need another tall backman who isn't proven as a shut down defender. That way if Johnson, Mundy, Thornton and Drum all get injured we will have a replacement ready to play that loose checking tall defensive role.
