On 7's Sunday SANFL game coverage, Mark Soderstrom said that Sturt had given permission for Jed McEntee to play for the Magpies against Sturt next Sunday as they didn't want to impede his progress.

For once sanity prevails.

Mind you all it would take is a mid season draftee, when eventually delisted by his AFL club, to tell his original SANFL club to get stuffed. 'I did not like the way I was treated so get stuffed I am returning to a different SANFL club'. That would send a clear message to the SANFL clubs.

Well done to Sturt FC. Somehow I cannot see Norwood or the Bays being so magnanimous.
