Is there any restrictions on who you can recruit in the VFL for the AFL sides?
If not we could just cherry pick SANFL players.

I think aligned clubs have a salary cap of $110k whereas no aligned clubs have a cap of $220k. Also have to have 7 players under 22 play each week.
I don’t follow Essendon closely in the VFL because it’s a mish mash basket league of comp and the standard is pretty darn average IMO.
A national reserves comp is the only way forward IMO
