If they can squeeze a hotel into the eastern stand I'm sure they find a spot to put a Camry Crows HQ. There are areas on the western side that they can probably find a way to exploit. Village Green South, Favell-Dansie Indoor Centre, the outdoor practice net area adjacent to the Favell-Dansie Indoor Centre, Village Green North (doesn't need to be that big).

I'm not saying it's going to be easy for them. I doubt the Camry Crows and John Olsen give a toss about SACA.

With Olsen and Hurley on the SMA board the Camry Crows have at least two votes. Olsen is a master of doing dodgy deals so I'm sure he will back himself to get the other votes he needs to get any thing the Camry Crows want through the SMA board. This is why they have made him Chairman.

As I said in an earlier post, I suspect Olsen was brought in because they are targeting a location within Adelaide Oval's existing footprint.

And the real shame is that rubbish bin dwellers like Smithson will turn a blind eye to any underhanded back door deals whilst busying themselves with outrageous things Port player families get up to.

Yeah I agree, the new Oval near the RAH is a good looking place..... SACA owned? But aren’t there free parkland spaces behind that too?

Yeah I agree, the new Oval near the RAH is a good looking place..... SACA owned? But aren’t there free parkland spaces behind that too?

SACA have just completed a big redevelopment of Karen Rolton Oval in Gladys Elphick Park/Narnungga (Park 25). I doubt they'd give that up for the Camry Crows. The ACC are going to build a skate park there as well.

Olsen seems to be inferring that Port weren't around then nor had Woodville and West Torrens merged yet.

Guess it's par for the course for them to rewrite history.

A few ovals north of the Zoo and close to Hackney Road.
Rooshitto is redeveloping the Hackney Hotel too, so that would work ok.

Yes, how surprising that the new Camry Crows' Chairman is a history revisionist.

Also how surprising that the guy at the centre of the Motorola Affair would have difficulty with facts.
