I remember your 2014 season. It took some corrupt umpiring and a lot of inaccuracy in front of goals to deny you a grand final berth. That Port scared the shit out of me as an opposition supporter.
Imagine if I'd told you at that point that you'd win 4 games in the next 3 years against us at Adelaide Oval.

I'm not in love with the game anymore. I love Port, I always will, but the AFL is disgracefully run. I rarely watch other games anymore, I just don't enjoy it. The umpiring is terrible, the rules are applied in an ever-changing manner, and decisions that are made off-field are so blatantly wrong. The past 3 weeks have confirmed it for me...

I'm angry. I love Port. I love football. I hate the AFL.
POTY.

You've nailed exactly how I feel. I will continue to be a member of the club I have loved my whole life and go to the Perth games when they are played here but I'm pretty much done with football and AFL.

We have been f**ked over by all and sundry since the day we started this journey and I've accepted the fact the AFL isn't going to fix us a GF (the only way to win one these days) in my lifetime.

I would really like for one of our administrator's to come out and serve some of the campaigners lined up against us Big Bob style. Sue the f**k out of ch7, tell the Fertilizer (with the exception of Rucci) to GAGF and tell 5doublecrow, not only no access to players or staff but a blanket ban from Alberton to all 5cc staff and reporters.

Taking on ch7 and the AFL we will be punished in fixture, live FTA games, umpiring, tribunal, media... Pretty much everything.

Support the club... You then support the AFL.

It's all farkd
In what way are we not already getting f**ked over by by the AFL and ch7 in all the things you mention?

This is the point were we have to take a stand. They are going to f**k us up, no matter what we do, so its past time to start swinging punches back.

Have Kochie grow some balls and start publicly going after some of these arseholes, especially elspliff hussey.

Have KT grow some balls, come out and publicly compare the differences in some of the bullshit rulings that see Port players get shafted whilst others do worse and get off scott free.

Have Ken grow some balls, come out and publicly question the bullshit umpiring that sees Charlie, Robbie and others get pack raped week after week and not get frees, while oppo players get free kicks for just being on the field. F**k, I have absolutely no problem with chipping in some of my hard earned to help pay his fine.

Most of all I just want SOMEONE at our club to grow some balls and start publicly going after some of these campaigners.

Lol Buckley torched a premiership list and looks to finally have his team looking half decent after how many years? Hinkley (rightly) cops it for getting nothing out of his players over a slightly shorter period (but has still coached in 3 finals series nonetheless) but Bucks is the messiah? Ok.

If not for the Polec mark on the goal line against winless Bris we would be 2-3 ....nothing surprises me with this team.
If Paddy hadn't put it down Robbie's throat last yr v St Kilda at AO when we won at the death we'd have probably missed finals.
Dew may well have been our coach now and as for Ken he'd reportedly would've been back on the Gold Coast.
Haven't seen GCS this year but it'll be a tragedy for us if they start to look as organised as Sydney.
Watching us at Unley yesterday was predictably frustrating and depressing.

If Hammer hadn't been injured in the Richmond game and had continued to do his job on Martin we'd have been 15-7 and them 14-8 and we'd have been in the qualifying final and them in the elimination final. And it's lkely that at least one of those finals, if they made it, would have been a PF at AO.

No. But in the answer to the post I was making, this was just to show that you could argue for a multitude of universes. At the end of the year a few close results going one way or the other can destroy or set up your year. In 2017 but for some close results we could have been playing a home PF, possibly even from top, but that did not happen.

hopefully the loss to the cats puts some fire up the arse of your players.
We will see but bear this in mind. I went to our "captain's run" training session the day before the game.
Our skipper had 4 shots for goal 30m out 45 degree angle and missed every one with a flawed ball drop.
He then walk off the ground with a big smile while chatting to a team mate. Actual game 1st qtr he misses from 15m out directly in front
with a flawed ball drop. His kicking technique has been suspect for years and he's on big coin.
I can't think of any other profession that would allow this. No wonder the players love Ken.

Bucks is also just about the only coach in the league who gets consistently out coached by Ken, so yeah. Not my choice.
