I don't feel bad for him in the slightest. He chose to do what he did. Sticks and stones ya know. He wasn't relentlessly slandered for being an aboriginal, he was called an ape by a girl who didn't mean in it a racial way. Champions rise above it. Not point them out, then 10 minutes later storm off the ground on your own with the shits when your team has had a 10 goal win.

I don't hate him at all. I just hate the way umpires gift him frees because he's a good player. Seriously umpires suck at that player love.

Feel bad that this happened to chappy.... probably not so much if it were to happen to Ben Jacobs (Not that celebrating an injury is something that you should do)

I doubt anyone would feel good if he did a knee. Him leaving was a win/win/win. Good for us, good for Chappy and good for Richmond.
 
I don't think he has done his knee as opposed to done some damage to the meniscus, thing is, he's done alot of previous damage to it which means he'll end up with a bone on bone scenario and a degenerative knee.
 
Chaplin was a spud here but he has improved out of sight at Richmond. Just like most of our team has. That's what proper a proper coaching structure does.

Still if it rules him out and Richmond play finals, I might have a wry grin on my face after his statements about wanting to play finals. You played in a grand final for Port, it might have been a disaster but come on, little bit of respect.

On second thoughts there's this bloke called Jay who left Richmond and also wants to play finals so regarding Chaplin it's awful news about his knee and I hope he's cleared to play and stays fit for the rest of his career

When is the floating fixture for round 23 set? looking at the schedule the game vs Carlton in round 23 could well be an elim final. would be nice for us to push to ask to play on the Friday night. we don't get a friday night match this year maybe we should con Kochy into getting it done? would be great for the club irrespective of results or whether the game is meaningful for the week after.

Either Essendon/Richmond or Collingwood/North will get Friday night. The matches between teams not playing finals will get the Sunday slots (Most likely WCE/Crows, WB/Dees, GCS/GWS). Because those two matches are at the MCG and both feature teams that will play finals, one will be in a Saturday slot leaving only the Friday night for the other match. It's likely both Dons and Tigers will be playing finals so that match will probably be the Friday night one.

We'll get the shitty Saturday afternoon slot, you can bet your house on it.
 
It's bullshit if they get one! No coincidence it's gifting to another Vic side
