pinching hurts bro.

Yeah if your little sister does it to your nuts.*

*I don't have a little sister to confirm this.

Pinching doesn't necessarily hurt, but it's annoying and whoever does it is pretty ****ed up tbh. What is it with Fremantle taggers? Dirty and everyone knows it. Harvey's also to blame. "300 times" **** you Harvey. Worst 350 game player ever.

Pinching is like slapping, they both hurt, but the one doing it will say it doesn't.

I was looking at the afl player rankings. ...saw Boak at 60(our highest ranked player) and chad at 288???...how do they figure it out?

**** Crowley. If he has to resort to pinching someone to get him off his game he deserves what he gets.

Imagine trying to do your job and having some dude following you around pinching you, but not being allowed to defend yourself because you might give away a free or get suspended.

I have no problem with allowing pinching so long as punching the pincher in the face is also allowed.

Exactly. When football was football, Crowley (and all taggers) were dealt with. It's why a young Wanganeen was never touched by Scott Salisbury.

Over the last forty games. Thats why Chad is lower.

But he is on the rise with a bullet at the moment.

It's possible that they factor in the previous season(s). And rightly so - one swallow does not a summer make. Rating based on solely on 12 games is Crow behaviour.

A post of mine from the main board thread on Melbourne receiving a priority pick...

2008-2012 average wins:
Melbourne 5.4
Port 6.8
Brisbane 8.8
Bulldogs 11.6

First round picks awarded based on season ladder performance (ie compensation and picks traded in omitted):

Melbourne: 1,1,2,3,12,12,17
Port: 4,6,7,8,16,28
Brisbane: 7,8,8,10,12
Bulldogs: 5,14,15,17,22

Based on that I'm not so angry about the current predicament, but rather the (mainly) Victorian clubs who filled their boots under the previous system and have since dominated the competition.

Melbourne fans arguing that if they don't receive one this year, then they may not be awarded again - I think the PAFC would have at least a similarly strong case based on 2011-12 performance. If the rules were the same as 10 years ago we'd have Stephen Coniglio running around for us now, in addition to Wines and Wingard.

It's a rolling 40 game ranking which is why Kennedy went down in the rankings this weekend to Dangercat despite Dangercat not playing a game. A convoluted and silly system. Gary Ablett could go out with a year-long injury and its likely no player could actually catch him in that time.

Who tells the Greg Phillips story so well in regard to protecting our young players, is it @FordFairlane ?

MATTHEW Primus has ruled himself out of the running to become Melbourne's next coach... Although he "maybe one day" will consider a return to senior coaching, Primus said he was not interested in applying for the Melbourne job formerly held by Mark Neeld.

Would like to see him get a senior gig somewhere in the future, but I'm guessing he's been torched by trying to rebuild a 'joke' club.

Devastated. After all the great work he did at PA, just reeling from the news. Better go Plan B, Paul Roos it is

Ah Big Matty P. All the best to him, but head coaching is not in his repetoire.

According to Sanderson, the crows will be lifted by Triggs return.

...lol

Absolutely delusional.

Go have a look on the crows board and the tide is turning against Sando.

It's quite ridiculous how much footy can change so quickly. Last year we were doing everything wrong on the field and whilst things were beginning to turn around off field, the perception of our admin was pretty poor. The Crows were going from strength to strength on the field, albeit with a friendly draw and they were seen to be one of the powerhouses off the field.

Not to say the roles have been completely switched, but to say that there has been a turnaround is an understatement.

No not completely, we were not found to be guilty of draft tampering, those cheating camry's.

I don't necessarily agree but he would be mad to go to Melbourne and face the same shit he did here during his time, lack of off field support as well as having too many players that do not know how to win.

Our team has mainly improved thanks to fitness and players we have added to our list.
With the exception of Wines who was a draft pick, Heath, Hombsch, Neade, Stevenson and Monfries were all scouted during last year whilst Primus was the coach, not after Hinkley came on board. Had primus been coach with the same on and off field staff that we have this year he would have achieved better results that he did.
