Yeah, probably. But who can prove that?

Not the ACCC. Over 30 years they might gum a company into submission.

Supply & Demand biatches. Supply and demand.

They could also argue that they need to cover the expense of the return flight with very few passengers on it.

Thats right bomber.

First thing hotels and airlines do is look at the AFL/NRL draws and set prices from there. Spring Carnival in Melbourne is the same.

A few years ago I was flying back to RAdelaide for a shin dig and couldn't work out why the prices were so different on the weeks either side of the week I wanted to travel. Then I realised the Swans and I think Sydney FC (maybe???) were both in Adelaide that weekend.

Basically you pay or walk.

****ed either way.

This is turning into quite a big news day.

Main board is telling me Crameri has walkout on Essendon.
Mike Sheahan tells me win or lose Clarkson will be a the WCE next season.
And earlier, Leppitsch to coach Brisbane.
Almost forgot Heath Shaw parting ways with the Pies.

Lol sheenan trolling hawks before gf...I reckon its good enough to lose that little mental edge they might of had

Load up on dockers lads

Paul Roos tried to take Stewie Dew as his coach-in-waiting at Melbourne. Sydney stopped the move. Roos seems to be burning a few bridges at Sydney.

Would flying to Sydney (or a regional centre) and driving in be an option?
What about flying to Adelaide and then hiring a car or busing it to Melbourne?
We are pretty lucky living here and awaiting the next few years of finals (hoping like crazy).

HAHAH sucked in Roo's

Stephen Rowe doesn't even try and hide his bias. First he's talking up how the crows "must" beat us to Polec, and now, after an interview with Stephen Trigg where Trigg talked about beefing up their development staff, Rowe talks about trying to "pinch Tyson Edwards from Port".

Sorry, I only listened between my house and the local dog park. ;)

I heard Trigg speaking so I went and played Super Mario Bros with my 4yo instead.

I missed the actual interview. Just heard Rowe's wrap/op ed.
Crowey said to Trigg, we must get Polec and not port. Trigg also said when poked by idot head, his cheating (in my words) has made him more determined to get things right on and off the field and right now it's a powerful feeling. lol.

Did Twiggy also rub his hands together and say, "muahahahaha"?

Trigg also said they were taking option 2 and waiting to do their delistings, so they may be able to use them as steak knives for trading. Playing his cards close to his chest as he put it. Asked what his priorities were and said, J Polec.

That's going to impress the other club list managers?
Did he get his 'steak knives' strategy from reading BF?
When it comes to Twiggy you can't get enough of these:rolleyes:
