I backed him a few months back at 251/1 :) could end up being one of the greatest bets ever. I'd be happy if he was to come 2nd or 3rd tbh. It'd pay for my season ticket for next year

One thing you can always count on at the Brownlow is some random player being awarded 2 votes from a game where his team was flogged by 10 goals, while a guy on the winning team who gathered 35 touches and 3 goals gets none. I bet the relative anonymity of some of our players sees this happen to us on a few occasions at this years count.

A lot of times the guy who does bugger all for the whole game and then pops up in the last quarter with 9 possessions and 2 goals will get some votes.

I'll bet someone like Boyd or Higgins get votes from when we beat the Bulldogs by 12 goals but no Port player will get a vote from Saturdays 2 point loss to Essendon.

Gray was best on Saturday night for me, but maybe I'm being slightly biased.

I'm trying to find an option for top 5 Brownlow placing but don't think it's available yet? Even top 3 would be good.

Thought we are better than this, some people need to maybe wait 24 hours after a loss before posting. One thing I can't stand is front running supporters.
Yep - I don't care how good a team is: they'll NEVER go through a season undefeated. I hate losing as much as anybody, but give the lads a break - they've given us a helluva lot more joy than pain this year, and I'm confident there's a lot more joy ahead before the end of the year. Keep the faith people: we're not done with yet!!!!!!

PORT Adelaide has banned a female fan from Adelaide Oval for 12 months for allegedly throwing beer at an Essendon player on Saturday night.
The supporter — who has not been identified to the media — is the first patron to be sanctioned under the new code of conduct for football fans at the Oval.
The Power says the fan is not a member of the Port Adelaide Football Club. She was evicted after allegedly throwing beer on Essendon midfielder David Myers at the end of Saturday night’s match that was won by the Bombers

That's why it's good that we've been on the front foot about it so as much of the story as possible is about the repercussions rather than the incident.

4 little harsh but about right, just a bad look can't do it.

Hopefully it was only west end, a waste otherwise.

Footys a funny game sometimes and upsets happen. Today in Vic on SEN they had a whos who and came up with the top four in order at the end of the home and away. Their analogy was sound and it did factor in an upset loss along the way. Agree or not here is their final outcome.
Top swans
2nd fremantle
3rd geelong
4th port.

I didnt take alot of notice of 5 to 8 but i think it was Hawthorn, North, collingwood and Essendon.
Who knows but the talk was good and worth a listen.
