Carlton are giving their members the opportunity to pick its 2015 guernsey:

Interesting... has this set a precedent for other clubs, including our own, to follow?

Don't get me wrong, I do like the simplicity of the Carlton monogram on the dark navy blue guernsey, but how strange is this statement...

THE FAMOUS DARK NAVY BLUE JUMPER,
UPON WHICH THE EQUALLY FAMOUS
WHITE CFC MONOGRAM IS EMBLAZONED,
IS QUITE PROBABLY FOOTBALL’S MOST
AESTHETICALLY IMPRESSIVE APPAREL ITEM

Do they have a Nigerian prince running their social media?

I much prefer Sturt's Guernsey to Carlton's. Carlton's doesn't impress me at all.

Strange statement lol, but I guess in a piece entirely about the jumper what else there to say? And it's not entirely wrong either, the jumper is one of the best looking sporting tops (APPAREL ITEM) in the world IMO. It's just a shame about the organisation attached to it.

Sounds like Trigg has got his fingers in the Carlton pie already.

They were already angling at returning to the classic monogram after it was so warmly received last year, but rest assured Triggy will put it on his list of achievements when the bluebagger brethren rightly vote it in as their permanent strip and the universal congratulations for doing so roll in.

The precedent was set by the Crows in 2009 through a members' vote on their new away strip.

The following effort "le clown vomit" came in stone motherless last:

But the board overruled the 19th man and installed it anyway. R.I.P. Trigg but your spirit lives on.

The old monogram looks shit. It's even more stupid if they change to the old monogram on the guernsey and don't change the logo.

Disagree. Huge improvement on the logo monogram.

I'm with you. the old one has a raw chunkiness to it that could only work for a football club emblem.
Would be great to see them follow through and rebrand everything with it.

The earlier ones look like the FSM logo.
