I would have thought in terms of prose quality we as a BF forum should try to occupy the broad middle ground between Facebook on the one side and the New York Times on the other. I think there's room for us.

They haven't helped themselves with some pretty poor decision making as well. Ever since I can recall I've associated Melbourne with 'good old boys' who went to the right schools and are seen in the right places. The creed of privilege and power, not Fos' Creed of Port Adelaide, hard work and inclusiveness.

I'm sorry for this kid and I hope he recovers, but I have no pity for Melbourne.

I wonder what sort of workload all clubs do with young players?

Port do 70% in year 1 ... up to 100% in year 3 under Burgo...I think?
